As you rightly said, Christian places of worship have diversified into other uses, and it seems they have taken a more business orientated approach to money!!

There has not been an explosion of Mosques in the UK over the past 50 years, in the U.K. only a few are created per year (if that!).

It appears the Muslim community congregate at the same / similar locations at Regents Park Mosque, or the big central mosques in Birmingham and Manchester which have had extensions built to accommodate the interest in Islam.

A big surge is building Mosques is not happening.

To those who have a problem with this, have you thought that once there were no churches in Britain either?

Time and history moves on - we have to allow people to chose the faith they beleive is true, and we would be immoral to prevent them from building their places of worship.

To the answerer who said 'keep britain white' - I am white and Muslim, so are my 3 kids, what do you have to say to that?

I've seen one Church become a Sikh place of worship, good idea in my opinion as the church had been empty for several years.
