wouldn't you want someone to tell you that there is a literal lake of fire that unrepentant sinners are punished in forever and ever? If someone really cared about you, wouldn't they want to tell you that there is a way to escape that awful place?

This guy actually thinks people can work towards ending poverty.

Incredible, unbelieveable. What's even worse are the people that are taking him seriously!

I have read the Bible from cover to cover more than once and I know how the church decribes the trinity as being 1 god with three personalities but I think the Bible is saying something differently. From what I understand is that the Lord our God is one. Jesus is the son of God but not God. He makes this clear by praying to God continuously. When he was in the garden he asked God to remove "this bitter cup from me." He was afraid to die but in the end he told God, "Let YOUR will be done." Even on the cross he asked, "Father why have you forsaken me?" Jesus always made a difference between the two. Even when He said the father and he were one. He then went on to say that they dwell within each other and so can we. But there still is a distinction. And I believe that the Holy Spirit is the comforter. The spirit of God that dwells among us. Feel free to shed some light. Please give me Biblical answers not things you heard from church.

I've seen some VERY optimistic Hollyweird idiots start some "End Poverty Forever" campaign. Recently, "Dr." Jeffrey Sachs posted a question that has been posted on the front page occasionally about "how poverty can be ended forever."

Excuse me, but this is the second dumbest question I've ever seen on this website. You can't end poverty, and I can't see why anyone would think they could try! This guy needs to get a real job and work with real morons so he can see why some people will always, and probably SHOULD stay poor!

Seriously, some of these trust-fund rich boys need to find something else to do all day...

and people who don't even believe in the Word of God or have even opened up the Book to read it, answer Bible related questions. I don't understand, how a person can answer a question that don't know anything about it but its opinion

I've seen some Christians say some stuff that has been a bit shocking about none believers. I don't get it. I mean true some Athiests say some nasty stuff to which isn't right. How come people can't accept each other beliefs and none beliefs? I think it's good to ask questions but not to be unnecessarily nasty. But I do wonder if some Christian really don't like none believers? I was wondering actually if some Christians r taught that the none believers r bad or something. I remember when I was in Sunday school and they were telling stories from the Bible about none believers and making them out to be bad. I could be wrong though coz I was quite young. I hope no one find this question offensive.

People are not perfect and do not sin. But after alot of thought about certain things I realize that I don't know for fact what is wrong and right according to the bible. What if the bible isn't clear and seeing that it is a Christians guide. So my question is do you think God will hold a person acountable for something they were ignorant of knowing that it was a sin?
