People do manage to hide this if they are careful and don't tell anyone, but they will always be guilty and live with the remorse.

Unfortunately, many get away with it. If you are not a public figure, you can get away with it a lot easier than those who are always in front of cameras. Many people are wracked with guilt for years over it and finally come clean or slip up. Some are caught by virtue of a simple receipt left in a pocket or a bill on the credit card invoice. Some get nailed by their disgruntled lover who call and tell the spouse or by friends who have seen the person with another partner than their spouse. Sometimes the lover will call on purpose to try to break up a relationship or the person will slip up speaking to ther partner once too often by calling them by the wrong name. There are lots of ways to get caught, and I think that is part of the thrill. Even if it often means their lives come falling apart, they gambled once too often and lost. Imagine giving your partner an STD! How do you explain that? I just wish more people would grow up, be less selfish and keep what they have and not mess around with something that belongs to another person.

Certainly. Some feel guilty some don't, some do it as punishment or to get a feeling of control, some do it because it just their nature, some out of lack of respect for their spouse or marriage vows. There's probably a little of each in an affair. I'm sure a shrink or two has written a book about it.

my man didn't get away with it. i've always thought the person whos cheating actually wants to be caught doing it for whatever reason. its like a sign to the person their cheating on saying...i want out, or i want to hurt ur feelings, or im scared and have commitment issues or lots of other things too. if ur asking this question cuz ur thinking about cheating, im going to tell u plz dont do it. it wont help n e thing and being cheated on is one of the most painful things to have to get over. when a trust in a releationship is destroyed, all hell breaks loose. =(

Majority of people cheating do get caught, but there are some who don't.Although once that trust is broken, the relationship can never be the same.

It can happen depending on the frequency and circumstances. A one night shot may never be known but a long term relationship or numerous one night stands are bound to be noticed.

I have always thought that what goes around will come around. They may not be caught cheating now.... but they will be got one day it is a thing called KARMA

Most of the time.
Like its possible to get away with it,
but most of the time its caught.
Either that or a lot of people get
away with it that we dont know about.
