I think I would ask him exactly that question.
I agree, he has run out of options. It's a lot quicker and easier to sleep with a woman you used to be with than to try to start a new relationship from scratch. I think I'd consider very, very carefully whether or not to make up. Unless he professes his undying love and realized you were the love of his life, etc., he's just taking the easy road. Why did you fight before? Does it still make you angry? Think good and hard before you let him back in your life.

He could want to get back on good terms and actually be sincere which is rare or he could want something from u depending on what the bad terms were it could be a huge waste of time to even be concerned

You are probobly a challenge since the last thing you said to him was rude. He wants to see if he can get you back, and there is the possibility that someone else just dumped him.

Perhaps because he loves you and wants to initiate a friendship or a relationship with you.
I was heart broken by one of my friends, he too said things that werent very nice, but I guess I triggered it.
We dont talk anymore, its been about 3 days but it depressed me more.
Hopefuly, like you, him and I talk again.
So from this perspective let me remind you, that life is short, and real friends are scarce. So appreciate him/her while you can, and best wishes.

He feels guilty and he knows what he has lost. He wants to get back together. I say, cut it off at the quick. If he wasn't man enough to apologize within a week, he's not worth it.

There are three possibilities. He's been thinking over it, decided he was a jerk and that that he likes you. He's desperate and just wants a girlfriend. Or, he's petty and wants revenge of some sort (e.g. leading you on so he can dump you, blackmail, or getting something out of you).

He's most likely looking for something. Just remember why you were rude, did you have a good reason? Then don't bother with him.

miss its never too late for anything ....he still has a lot of love for you...and most of the time in fights you dont no what ur saying ....so ..dont keep that in ur heart and patch up and everything will be fine between you guys
