People are not perfect and do not sin. But after alot of thought about certain things I realize that I don't know for fact what is wrong and right according to the bible. What if the bible isn't clear and seeing that it is a Christians guide. So my question is do you think God will hold a person acountable for something they were ignorant of knowing that it was a sin?

Don't oppress yourself with wondering about whether something is a sin or not. Jesus said the most important commandments were love God and love your neighbor as yourself. In the OT God expects God's people to care for the widow and the orphan, to do justice. So don't sweat the small stuff, if you are seeking to do your best then believe that God is a God of grace and love, not some big judge waiting to condemn us all.

For each and every action the bibke has do's and dont's. Bible is a very vast ocean and u have to deep dive into it to find things. U need help from people pretty good at references and also the internet also helps u provide online bible whre u can key in the important words so that it will help you in finding the things easy. Coming back to the point comitting sin without know it is all bullshit (sorry to say that). We are the better person to know that what we do is againt god or not. So every step we take its better to link it with god. Like it goes "WWJD" What Would Jesus Do. So in every sitaution if u start thinking like that. May be you may not commit any sin and you will not be held responsible for any sin on the final judjement day.

People sin all the time, either on purpose or not, because we aren't perfect. If you read the bible, the sins are pretty clear. However, if you talk to God about it, God will let you know the answer. After you ask your question, listen to your heart. The Holy Ghost will let you know what the answer is.

If you are a Christian then the Holy Spirit will convict you of what is wrong and right and there will be no mistaking it - you will know and to go ahead and do that which is wrong is sin - sometimes an action can be a sin and sometimes you will feel the Holy Spirit calling you to take an action and you don't and that is a is a sin as well. But you will always know, that is why Christ gives us the Holy spirit to indwell within us.

im goin through the same thing i call myself spritually lost because all of these scientist and people with their theories (Da Davini Code) is maken me think
everyone has there different prospective of the bible and people hav been rewriting the bible 4 years that no one really knows the original words or God atleast i dont think
just this week i found out in this book called 50 things you're not suppose to kno (strongly recommended i can email it if u r curious) that says the 10 comandments or really not it. America changed them
but anyway God should understand u being totally ignorant to the fact just as if he would sent a child to heaven not knowin the diff between right and wrong
also God have ways of pointing you to the right direction (watch out 4 random strangers that talk to u, im tellin u he works in misterious ways)!

I think that when it comes down to questioning somethings, I just ask God himself. The Bible tells us a lot but not everything. As for a person being accountable for not knowing something is a sin, I think thats when God's mercy comes in. I hope

God expects you repeant from your sins. In the Bible it says, believe on the Lord Jesus Chrsit and you will be saved. And its that simple. If you believe in Him and tell him that (obviously through prayer) then you have a free pass to heaven baby! so even if you sin, he knows that you believe in him and that you will save you from your sins. There are many times that i have sinned and not repented, but God isnt gonna send me to Hell for that! So to answer your question, no, I don't think God would hold you accountable for ignorance if you already are one with him. If you are not, then it doesnt matter anyway, now does it?

Bless you, of course God isn't going to hold a person accountable for a sin of which that person knew nothing about. God loves all the Children.

I think if you really are a Christian you know what is right and wrong. The Holy Spirit should be guiding you in your choices to do things. Everything you do is either good or bad right or wrong. Only God knows our hearts, and I think He will judge us accordingly.

There are parts of the Bible that scientist are still finding to this day. What I don't understand is why isn't anyone adding these parts to the bible which will make the message more clear.
