all my life I've felt different, like I'm suppose to do something more and now that I'm about to be 21 in a week, I feel compelled to become a nun. I've been celibant for a while and I just feel that I should be married to god. I have a bf who's currently in Afghanistan, and I don't know how to break it to him. Can somebody help?

I see people on this site with pretty much no heart no understanding
AND
Some people hate other people's color of skin
or their gender
AND
Some people hate other people just because of the way they dress, talk, or act
Why are people so Crazy /mean/critacal/overall stupid?
Why don't some people have a heart?

I work for the government and have just been promoted to a new position within my agency. I now have entirely new duties that I will have to be trained for, a new boss, and most of my coworkers work in a different building, however for the time being I am staying where I am. My old building was super casual. I wear jeans and polo shirts 5 days a week. The people who work across the street at my new job wear button up shirts, polo shirts and the women wear pants suits and dresses. A couple of guys (including the boss) had on ties. I of course am going to lose the jeans and my new boss said what I had on was otherwise fine and I shouldn't have to change to months. I am thinking of wearing a button up shirt and a tie a few days a week though. I feel more professional doing that, but I'm afraid if I do it right at the start it will be viewed as brown nosing. Also anytime I have worn a tie in my old building I felt horribly out of place, due to everyone else being so casual.

I've been confused lately. We want equality for all races, right? Then why do we have special months (February and June) and tv channels (BET) for black people? If we want them to be equal, why would we have them stand out? And in schools there are the Latino, Asian, Black, etc clubs, but there are no caucasian clubs. So we're giving people what they want, but it's only making them stand out as a different race. It seems to me like we're bending over backwards trying to please everybody, but we're only getting accused. What is the solution? What is considered racist and what is acceptable?

If I have offended you in anyway, I'm truly sorry, I just don't know what's acceptable and what's not. Will you please explain to me? Thank you in advance!

Renowned atheist philosopher Anthony Flew says:
Notoriously, confession is good for the soul. I will therefore begin by confessing that the Stratonician atheist has to be embarrassed by the contemporary cosmological consensus. For it seems that the cosmologists are providing a scientific proof of what St. Thomas contended could not be proved philosophically; namely, that the universe had a beginning. So long as the universe can be comfortably thought of as being not only without end but also beginning, it remains easy to urge that its brute existence, and whatever are found to be its most fundamental features, should be accepted as the explanatory ultimates. Although I believe that it remains still correct, it certainly is neither easy nor comfortable to maintain this position in the face of the Big Bang story.

Is this why many "Christ"-ians are "Jesus" fanatics,
not (yet) knowing peace with God is "through J->C",
or that God was in "Christ" reconciling the world?

I'm crazy about redheads and perhaps there's a gorgeous famous redhead I don't know.

Now, I'm not talking about light brown hair or dark blond... I'm talking about RED; Gates McFadden, Sondra Currie, Angie Everhart.. that kind of red :)

....we have all heard it but is it actually true- did any person/organisation actually ever say this, and mean it?

Obviously it is a true scenario in many cases but I'd like to know if these words are ever actually officially employed?

Thanks
