Convenience stores because we don't give a sh*t about things as long as we have something from a cenvenience store to keep us comfortable. Thus less civic and community stuff happens.

Or lawn mowers because they give off much more CO2 than cars and lawn mowers are even more unnecessary than cars. Thus global warming (climate change).

Are siamese twins legally one person or two. For example if one of them has medical insurance coverage does it automatically cover them both since health issues affect them both. Are they issued two birth certificates and two social security numbers, etc.

For example, whenever someone refers to an American, it always gets broken down to black, white, etc. But places like brazil and puerto rico where theres a big mix, they are all just called brazilians or puerto ricans. Do you think Americans will eventually have their own disinct look and culture in 100 or more years?

I just don't get it!

People hate Jews, Iranians, Gays, blacks, etc, etc. So why woudl we want to fidn life on other planets? To enslave them? to steal from their planet? I pray we don't ever find it. We are not ready.

They (ABC) said that Star lost creditbility with the audeince because she was not forth coming about how she lost her weight.
And they stated that the fact that she used her celebrity to get freebies for her wedding a few years ago did not set well with them or the general public.

Before you answer please think about this:

Celebrities have been getting gifts of all kinds for ever just because of who they are. And why is it our business if you lost the weight naturally or if she had some kind of surgery?

Star stated on many occasions that she had "medical intervetion" to lose the weight because it was a matter of life and death for her. Not that she needed to share that with us.

Every time I turn on the tv, it's some man playing an idiot while the women has drive and clairty of vision.

I'm sick of men being portrayed as walking sacks of meat that just burp and fart.

Because ladies, remember... Men are better then you at the following:

- Math
- Science
- Engineering
- Humerous Jokes / Comedy
- Not getting pissed off at your friend because of an indirect comment she made to the sister of your other friend during the meal at burger king that they shouldn't have had because they're supposed to be on a diet with you. (breath break) Which caused you to break your diet and eat a tub of ice cream which made you want to watch beeches which made you sad so you had to call your mother even though you didn't feel like it to get some sort of comfort, yet there wasn't any comfort only questions about babies, so you angry and take it out on your husband who you've been denying sex to but it's his fault because he's not here right now.

i was thinking places like iraq afghanistan palestine etc.. you hear about them being bombed or attacked every second day. do the ordinary citizens lead a normal life? like can you roam around in the city safely? how does it change? like the bombing of beirut airport .. i was wondering how normal ordinary people deal with it...

A work colleauge of mine tragically died 2 weeks ago and his funeral was today. we asked the management if we could hold a 2 minutes silence for him at the time of his funeral and we were told no.

But on July 7th this year we held a 2 minute silence for the victims of the London Bombings.

So my question to them was - Why can't we hold one for someone we knew and worked with, but we have to hold one for something that happened 100 miles away to people that we never even knew and took place 1 year ago??

Was it a ''the whole country is doing it, so we ought to'' thing?

What are your views on this??
