a good friend had a thing happen to her and she called upset knows she can tell me anything and I will listen try to help etc. I tell people we all make mistakes and you hear things that get weird all the time. I told her about this web site and she doesnt have time but said it was okay that I come here and ask.
1. Her boyfriend who is over 40 was staying a few days, HER son was gone and due to things they were going to build or make on the 4th they were going to have a few drinks, watch movie the night before.
2. they were having good time , cutting up, but she may have had one too many and doesnt get drunk not her style.
3. it was bed time, (with no son( the guy has plan to get a "little" his last chance?
4.It hits her all at once and to her horror she starts throwing up and must have passed out.
5. Next morning wakes up, upset with herself for she still feels a little bad, has things to do.
6. He took care of her w/ trash can while she threw up, He still did her all the WAY!

Lately ive been feeling lonely. Ive felt this way before while i was single for a long time. Then I met a girl and thought that I was in love.........but Im not sure if it was love really. Think maybe it was just infatuation or soemthing like that. Anyway we went out for a few months but then we broke up. Before i met her i felt lonely, like there was something missing in my life. I thought having someone special would take that feeling away. But it didnt. I mean it did help some, kinda pappered over the cracks I think, however I still felt a bit empty. When we broke up I was kinda relieved because it was a very stressful relationship and so for a while I was fine. But now a few months later that feeling of loneliness has returned and im thinking id like a girlfriend as i pretty much feel all alone in life.Only this time im not so sure that thats whats really going on. Maybe that feeling is something inside me telling me that im not making the most out of my life? what do you think?

I tend to act the way others may perceive me...so sometimes if I get flustered, it's hard for me to concentrate and do well on certain tasks. Any tips on keeping your head in the game?

we all have heard stories and stereotypes about the rich... having it all materially, and yet morally or spiritually bankrupt. seems like it goes with the territory, or does it?

being rich certainly changes people, but does it necessarily have to be for the worse?

i just wonder what being rich does to oneself. i'm sure it changes people's perspectives. And i'm not sure whether it is humanly possible not to think of oneself as being "higher" or "better" than the rest of the crowd.

do you know any wealthy people who seem to defy stereotypes and are actually down to earth nice folks?

I have a client who is 16. she will be 17 in a few months. She is currently living with relatives because of behavioral problems at home. It was not done through the courts. The relatves feel stressed because the parents have not given them any money and the mother calls daily to question everything they do. Now they want to return him because they are now having marital problems. They believe it is safe. I do not. There is years and years of physical and emotional abuse. She is scared to go back. She has asked if she could live with me. I would take her in a heart beat. She deserves a loving home without the stress of feeling that she's not wanted.

Puberty is very confusing to me. Its weird how it makes me suppose like its only happening to me, and not anyone else. It also occasionally makes me think about akward things. Sometimes, it makes me believe I'm not straight, yet I know I'm 100% straight, and I forever want to be straight. Is this all normal? I hate puberty ._.''

My bf most likely suffers from depression. He has acknowledged it and his parents has told me that he was on medication a long time ago but stop taking them because his psychiatrist fell asleep during a session and he has hated them ever since. He even attempted suicide though he doesn't really want to die but he thinks it was to get his parent's attention.

He also says its difficult to open up to someone and seek help but at the same time knows that not seeking help is not doing him any good, nor our relationship. I don't know how much longer I can take of his mood swings, of having to tip toe on eggshells not knowing what kind of mood to expect. It would just be nice to come home and see a happy smiling face instead of someone who just seems to loathe himself, the world and everybody and everything in it (except his dogs) and mope/sulk all the time.

I'm trying to understand how it is a person who knows he needs help can at the same time refuse to get it. Why is it so hard

For myself I count

A head on collision - 65 mph on both sides - There were a total of 3 people involved in that accident - 2 killed - and I walked away with minor injuries

Attacked by 3 guys strangled to until I was almost unconsious and had a bottle smashed over my head - Believe it or not the "fight" broke up because of the bottle smashed over my head - For some reason this got the guy on top of me off - He attacked the guy who hit me with the bottle - It was enough though

Apendix burst and I was unaware for a while - Poison ran through me as I began to halucinate - interesting - I was very lucky another 12 hr or whatever I would have either died on my couch or been beyond help

3 Times I have come very close to death -

It has made an impact on me but I am not sure how or in what way

Do you have any stories of similar nature and if so how did this impact you and your life ?
