Not 'an Answer' you're looking for, but, to make use of and to (my bit for the Planet Earth) re-cycling it

A blond enters a shop that specialises in curtains and tells the salesman that she would like to buy a pair of pink curtains in the size of my computer screen.

The surprised salesman replies, "But computers don't have curtains....!"

And the blond, looking at this stupid man, says, "Helloooo. I've got Windows!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Sash.

A pair of curtain means 2 whole curtains and one curtain that is cut in half is "half of the curtain"...

Depends on the size of the window! If it's tiny, then one length of material, cut in half, would suffice. If it's an average size, each curtain will require a full width of material and if it's really wide, each curtain may need one and a half widths, or even two widths, joined together! (Psychology - maybe I'm missing something?!).
