I may sound a little wacko here but I believe that if you want to talk to someone that has died, that all you have to do is think about them and they know it. Anyone. Wheather it was someone you personally knew or just someone you knew of. I believe their soul is somehow connected through our thoughts. Does anyone else feel the way I do?

Would you say it is wise to go off exactly how you feel at the moment of a situation and carry that feeling consistently so you're not confusing yourself?

I can't understand why I hate (no, hate is too strong a word) dislike and always deride my sister, who is four years younger than me (I am 19) The only clues I have to this problem is that I dislike my mother's wild and spirited character, though I love her, I'm embarrassed of her. When I was young, my friends used to make fun of my mom right in my face. And this wild and spirited character applies to my sister--my sister is very similar to my mother. They are both wild, both very caring, and loving. And each time my sister says to me: "I LOVE YOU!" I feel as if I'm going to barf with disgust....but I don't hate her. I have fun with her at times. But why do I try to best her all the time? Why do I always try to look smarter than her? When she has a bf, why do I try to steal attract him? What am I trying to prove by my callous actions? WHY am I acting like this?

I've often heard that a high I.Q. level can cause a person to experience extreme mood disorders, or possibly cause insanity at certain periods of time. I think the average I.Q. level is slightly above 100. I can understand why having so much knowledge about things might cause a person to experience depression. Are there any studies that indicate that a person with extreme intelligence can go crazy?

I have been dating this guy a few weeks. I accept that he is a recovering alcoholic (sober 4 yrs). He goes to AA, is honest about his condition, owns a business, takes care of his employees, and when we got up to being intimate, he got an HIV test and showed me the results. He told me before we were intimate he liked to take overly-hot showers to relax. In the morning I saw his stomach was covered with dime-sized scabs (about 30-40). I questioned this. He said they were from taking his hot showers. He blisters himself with the water! I asked him how often he did it. "2-3 times a day." I didn't know how to respond at that moment, but I've looked into "cutting" and I see that scalding also qualifies as self-mutilation. What can I do to help him stop? Do I need to end our relationship so he can face this problem? If I don't, am I condoning his behavior? Where can I go for information on how to help him? I'm afraid and I don't know what to do for him, and for myself.

WANDER AROUND?

I have heard some people say even my cousing and aunty, including my MOTHER, which she did a long time ago. But I don't know if it's true. Some of the people that have experienced this told me that when you get out of your body, which is only when asleep, you can fly around and do whatever you want except that they're certain thing you can't do: touch, communicate, and stay outside your body for a long time. They also told me that when you're outside your body, everything is real, unlike dreams, and that you are as weightless as a feather that's why they are able to fly around quickly.
