I can never get a definition of "ugly"! What do people think "ugly" looks like? Are fat people ugly? Thin people? Old people? What does "ugly" actually MEAN?

Peoples eyes are trained by what their own mind relates to and sees as attractive to them. The word ugly means unattractive, not pleasing to the eye. You cant really define the word in one certain way because it all has to do with peoples perception. What one person thinks is "fat" could be someone elses skinny and vice versa. Thats why it makes sense to never take other peoples opinions of you personally. Nobody can define it by saying their "own one way" is THE ONLY way of seeing things, because it wont be correct by everyone elses standards. You know how the old saying goes "Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder". It really rings true.

People are ugly when they are cruel, or when they abuse themselves and others. People who don't keep clean are ugly. People who don't brush their teeth or wash their face and hair are ugly. People with bad body odor are ugly. Morons are ugly. People who are mean to animals are very, very ugly. Inconsiderate people are ugly. Greedy people and hypocrites, ugly. Rude people- ugly. Ignorant prejudiced people - ugly. People who don't keep their yard clean are ugly. People who think they are all that and people who look down on others to raise themselves up are ugly and liars are just about the ugliest of all.

ok Konswayla said it all..... so, " what she said" does it 4 me! ok, let me add to that..... some ppl think that disabled ppl are ugly. some say that fat ppl are ugle, thin ( too thin) are ugly. I seem to think that those who look down on others are ugly. or those who exploit others are ugley. and those who are cruel to animals are really, really ugley!!!

i think it means unhealthy or malformed. also, if someone is unpleasant and has a sad or angry face a lot, that can be a big displeasure to others too. anything displeasing in some way.
