Psychology - January 2007

Well, I've been out of school for a LONG time! It's been like 3 weeks! First it was for Christmas break...& then we got 20 in. of snow! It was a blizzard! But anyways..back to my question, since I've had such a long break I've been livin it up! I've been staying up all night watchin tv and eating junk food & then I sleep in the daytime. But thats not gonna work when I have to go to school. If I stay up all night before I have to go to school, I'm gonna be so tired at school! Are there any ways to make yourself sleepy?

It is a certain aspect of a dream that keeps returning. The actual subject of the dream can be different, but when I try to walk or run, it feels as if my legs weigh too much, or as if I am walking through a very thick substance. The dream in itself isn't scarey though.

i have been serching some books where they talk about homosexuals, but i couldn't see the reson why there are homo.
some books say that they were born like that, other books say that it is just a disease,
according to the bible, i consider homoes like the follower of satan.
what can you help about that?
what do you know about them(the resons why they leave on the earth.)?

This is a real problem for me, whenever I try to study I tell myself 'just one more song', but then it lasts for hours and I put it off until the day before my test or an assignment is due (sometimes I put off essays until several hours before class). This coming semester I'm taking even more units plus they are more advanced classes, and I don't think I'll be able to wing it without studying anymore.
I have had this problem since the beginning of high school and could use some pointers on getting over my procrastination habbits. Anything that has worked for you or ideas at all would be appreciated.

People. Humans do the strangest things,my,my, we do. We cheat...we lie...we steal...we commit crime...and we believe in a man named God if we're Christian, and he supposedly created the whole universe. Where did it all go wrong. When did our race decay from being normal?
I don't know how we let ourselves go but i don't think it's right. The things we do have unforeseeable consequences so i would of thought after evolution, and after the years of free will and being able to speak that we realise that sometimes what we do is wrong.
Some things we do I can understand.Lying.Lying is what we do to prevent others from knowing our true intentions.Lying is a security method, and can sometimes help you out of a sticky situation. But then why do we commit crime and all that?
When did people stop believing in being kind to everyone around you, and mug everyone in the street eh? If we all worked together
we would be a much more happier place.

off. I thought I was going to die from blood loss.

Then I caught typhoid and was very sick for nearly a month. I was better for a little bit, but ended up getting pnemonia because the place I was was freezing cold, and to make matters worse, I ende up getting tetnus in the arm wound. Not only did they have to reopen it, but I ended up getting shots in my spine, and a tracheotomy.

Anyways, I'm better now and have been for 3 years, but now I'm really very parenoid about any kind of physical discomfort. If it's a little cold, I have to be extremely warm. I can't be hungry for even a little bit, and I am so parenoid about getting cut that I can't handle metal things or be around anything I think might cut me. I won't turn pages without a hankerchief on my hand.

Is there anything that can be done about this and will it go away by itself?

Is the word ‘intelligent’ a complement word for people who whine and talk about garbage that doesn’t resolve to anything? Like if I was talking to a genius, and aimed a gun to his head, what would all that bullshit he reads and Nobel Prize winning, and theories do for him? BANG ************. But if I was talking to a common sensed infused person, who wasn’t intelligent and had street smarts, if I aimed a gun to his head…10 seconds later I would be in hospital. E=mc2? good for you BANG. i am physically weak person but my nature is passive aggressive.

My life is starting to TICK ME OFF! Okay, I got everything from looks, money, friends and kindness. AND IT'S BUGGING ME!
Most of my friends only see me as a BANK from which they can withdraw from ANYTIME. Some guys from school misinterpret my kindness and think I'M GAY! THAT IS AN INSULT! I'm a happy-go-lucky person and I want to be a studious, quiet and pensive person. Being bubly won't help me through college! I really wanna change. Any advice?
