Well, I've been out of school for a LONG time! It's been like 3 weeks! First it was for Christmas break...& then we got 20 in. of snow! It was a blizzard! But anyways..back to my question, since I've had such a long break I've been livin it up! I've been staying up all night watchin tv and eating junk food & then I sleep in the daytime. But thats not gonna work when I have to go to school. If I stay up all night before I have to go to school, I'm gonna be so tired at school! Are there any ways to make yourself sleepy?

Well I know where you're comin from lol, I had the same problem. I stayed up all night the night before the night I needed to go to sleep early. That way I was sooo tired by the next night that I was able to fall asleep early just like that, and I woke up around 4 in the morning, but that gave me a chance to do some of the stuff I usually do at night for a few hours and still be awake enough to stay up for school. Try it! It really works.

You are looking at it from the wrong end. What you need to do is adjust your day from the beginning.

Start by working out how many days you have left before you start school. Then what time do you need to get up for school. What time are you waking up now? Work out the difference in hours, and divide it by the number of days you have. You will have a small amount of time as your answer, let's call it an hour.

Each day, set your alarm for that amount of time earlier. When it goes off you MUST get up. Do not hit snooze. It is best to have the clock on the other side of the room. You may find this very difficult at first, what helps is to get straight in the shower, the hot water will kick start your metabolism and you will feel better. During the adjustment period you are not allowed to take any naps. You may however go to bed as early as you like. Don't drink any coffee after 8 pm.

How difficult this will be will depend on how much time you have to spread it over, but there is no easier way, so if you are suffering tell yourself you would suffer even worse if you didn't do this.

As someone who works the night shift and occasionally has to switch back to "normal" hours, I have to say that there's no way (without medication) to force yourself to be sleepy. You could try what I do--stay up all night and as long the next day as you can, and then go to bed. When I do this one of two things usually happens: either I end up going to bed at like 8:30 in the evening and waking up at 4:00 a.m. (better than sleeping all day but still not perfect) or I end up staying awake for more than 24 hours because I just....can't....sleep. Very frustrating. It's really hard to turn yourself into a Day Person when you've become a Night Person! Good luck!

Basically you're easiest way would be to skip sleeping tonight (Sunday) and get back to regular on Monday after school. I try to do it Saturday night to avoid that.

If not, you might try some of those sleeping pills or NyQuil. You could also do a lot of exercise today. Though I would just be tired at school, you won't be doing much and probabaly 90% of the students are going to be tired anyway.

First! Junk Food is gonna mess you up. Stay the Course. Keep focused on what's important. Try taking "Aleve" or one like that. At a time that you need to lay down. don't take any hard stuff. You're screwed if you do. Relax. and look for what your Education is gonna do for you.

i like your theory. it is what I do while i'd desire to come back on objective. merely stay wide awake from now till at last approximately hour of darkness or 2 o'clock (That way you will get from 8 to 10 hours of sleep) and then set your alarm for 8 or 10 am. Works like a allure. Then consistently set your alarm and upward thrust up no rely what. at last you will initiate getting drained on the suited time and waking up isn't a undertaking. BTW that Iphone App theory sounds cool too. Makes me want to interrupt down and get one. stable success, pal!
