Before interpreting your dream, let me warn you that there is absolutely no scientific study which proves that dreams can be interpreted correctly or that they necessarily reflect some aspect of your life. So you must take any interpretation with a pinch (or maybe an ounce) of salt.

However, that does not mean dreams don't mean anything. Dreaming of getting stung by a scorpion, that too on each foot, is not a happy thing after all.

Most probably the dreamer has either experienced or seen a scorpion sting before - if not in reality, at least in a movie or book. And that experience has affected her deeply. Ask your friend not to worry too much. It definitely 'sucks', but it is rarely fatal :-).

But that may have been in the long past. Why did she dream of it now? Our mind plays tricks on us all the time. Mostly, with purpose. Maybe her subconscious is alerting her to some possible danger. A scorpion stings when you are not aware. It comes from the dark and takes you by surprise! A surprise couldn't be nastier of course. So ask her to be more careful. She may discover the scorpion before it stings.

Finally, a scorpion sting is a painful thing. Dreaming of it may also mean supressed pain. Ask her to let go any pain she is withholding. Let her feel it in its full intensity. The best way to overcome pain (not the physical kind) is to feel it intensely once and for ever. Supressed pain will find queer outlets over a long period of time.

Scorpion
To see a scorpion in your dream, represents a situation in your waking life which may have been painful or hurtful. Itis also indicative of destructive feelings, "stinging" remarks, bitter words and/or negative thoughts being expressed by or aimed against you. Your dream forewarns of a self-destructive and self-defeating path. The scorpion is also a symbol of death and rebirth. You need to get rid of the old and make room for something new. Alternatively, the scorpion may also represent a person who is born under the astrological sign for Scorpio.

To see scorpions floating in water, suggests that you need to let go of some pain and learn to accept the situation. You may be going through the three-step process of denial, acceptance, and finally moving on.

Off topic- I got stung by a Scorpion and it sucks :( she's lucky it was only in her dream.

the question you should ask her is how did she feel about the bites and scorpions? what size where the scorpions? what was the environment that is happened and how did she react.

We can both dream about the same 'thing' and have totally different meanings depending on how you feel. Be wary of books and sites that are '10,000 dreams interpreted'. They are mostly rubbish.
