I honestly believe people are born that way. Although I am not gay, I believe people fall inlove with personality and not gender.

There is no such thing as a truly homosexual or heterosexual person unless this person is entirely sexist.
Homosexuality is nothing more than a result of societal conditioning. As is heterosexuality.
Let me ask you this...Do you honestly believe that a flipping of the wrist, a feminine voice, or a "good taste" in fashion is a result of genetics? Or the blatantly obvious results of stereotypes and social upbringing. But forgive me as I don't mean to stereotype all gay males. In fact, if you look at the gay male population you will find people who are both very masculine and very feminine and everywhere in between. This is when I must ask you what is the one thing a gays seem to have in common besides being a man. Obviously, the only distinctive trait is that they think they are gay or they want to be gay. That is it. I haven't done a study so I'm not 100% sure on this but I've met quite a few gay guys all of which have been unbelievably different.
The biggest influence without a doubt is society. The "reality show" Laguna Beach features several supposedly straight guys who act almost exactly like the girls they're surrounded by everyday. Not how they even pick up on there dialect with the constant use of "like" and other various words.
Furthermore, what you like is sometimes ever changing. When I was younger I used to hate mustard, but now I like it on some things. In other words, mental attractions are undeniably a state of mind and anything that is a state of mind is capable of being controlled by the will. However, if someone believes it isn't, then sadly...isn't it.
Just think about this as the bottom line:
If someone thinks they're homosexual and can doing nothing about it then they are. But if someone doesn't think they're homosexual then they're not.
Homosexuals will tell you otherwise only because their conditioning is so strong. In which case I'm no condemning them, it's perfectly understandable for someone to go back to what is more comfortable and familiar to them. In their case, they feel more comfortable being homosexual and we all know that comfort is a result of conditioning.
When I was younger, they had to have been some sort of constant droning noise while I was sleeping or something because now it's so much harder for me to sleep without a fan on or the air conditioner running. This is OBVIOUSLY NOT a results of genetics, but once again conditioning. Conditioning that is so strong, that it seems like I won't ever be able to sleep with that fan off. But...eventually I did. And I've done it several times just fine. Maybe...if I continued to do it all the time, I wouldn't to hear any noise when I try to go sleep. However, the conditioning at this point is so strong that it's hard for me to find the constant drone of the fan oh so comfortable. Homosexuality, I would think, is not this hard to break however.

Homosexuals are not followers of Satan. Being homosexual is not a disease. Some consider it a choice. Some say it is because of pheromones and that homosexuals are simply attracted to a person of the same gender the way that a heterosexual person is attracted to the opposite gender.
I, myself, am pansexual; I believe that gender shouldn't matter. I mean, honestly, say that no one knew whether anyone was a male or female unless they told them. I'm sure a lot more people would fall in love with someone of the same gender as themself, because they love them for their heart.
I don't think whether a person has a vagina or penis should matter.
You know, before you think of homosexuality as a sin and quote the Bible...
Did you know that the Bible also says that eating shellfish and wearing clothes made of polyester are also sins?
The Bible may be accurate with some things, but I don't believe it is with others, such as those. It has been rewritten and translated so many different times, that I believe the original document has been lost.
Say homosexuality was a sin. As long as it is pure love, I don't believe God would regard it as one, or at least I don't believe He would 'hate' a person for being homosexual
If God is real, He does not hate. He only loves, even the sinners. Hate is a thing often associated with Satan. Why would someone associate it with God? I never understand that. Seems sort of hypocritical to me.
Homosexuality is just that; a sexuality, just like heterosexuality is. Just like gender is just a gender. Just like race is just a race. It is not of significance in God's eyes.

I'd say there are all sorts of factors that contribute to human beings' sexual preferences. Some people, as you rightly observe, believe that sexual preference is connected to nature. Others believe it is learned or cultural. Personally, I would say society makes it easier to honour hetero urges than homo ones and that this is why the majority of people are heterosexual. In a genuinely liberated society, you would see more of a balance, whereas today, people whose sexuality is ambiguous are better enabled to go down the "straight" path.
A book I'd recommend would be Andrew Sullivan's "Virtually Normal." I found it a very interesting and enlightening examination of the central positions on homosexuality.
However, if you consider "homoes" the followers of Satan, I don't think there is any way I can help you. Where would I start?

To pose the question of what causes homosexuality is actually a judgment about homosexuals. If you ask for the causes of homosexuality you assume that this is a disorder and needs to be explained. It is better to find out what influences and processes determine sexual preferences, whether this is homosexuality, heterosexuality or something else. Physical causes for the development of a sexual preference could be certain brain structures or hormones and research is now being done on a certain homo gene. However, there hasn't been enough research to say anything reliable about this. Psychological causes for the development of a sexual preference could be certain thoughts or feelings that exist after a harmful event or in daily life. Finally, social factors could play a role, e.g education, nagging, and being unable to make contacts. However, not enough is known about these causes for sexual preferences.
In the broader scheme of things you could ask why do people steal, lie or cheat. They all break implicit and explicit laws established by societies, and yet people continue to do it. They are about as different as having homosexuals on earth, and another variable that make humans interesting and vastly different.

It is all about the big O (orgasm, that is). When a person starts taking drugs, little by little he is led to harder and harder drugs just to get the same pleasure. Some of the grossest sexual predators started off reading porno and never dreamed they'd wind up where they finally wound up. Ted Bundy's interview on television explained this very progression. What we at first eschew, we then tolerate, then embrace, then go hog wild.
Even heterosexual men explore that area when their wives refuse sex or when the man feels his wife is unattractive or boring. The forbidden pleasure is enticing. That preacher that was caught recently is in that category. Too many wives defraud their husbands and indirectly cause an excursion into foreign waters. Too many men don't appreciate willing wives.
A large portion of homosexuals were abused as children. This is huge. I know a man who as a little boy of four years old was abused by a relative. What that tempter did was put into that little mind something that should never have been there. So the boy grew up, had a failed marriage, and became homosexual. The seed had been planted and now it has sprouted. Once in that lifestyle, it is very hard to escape it, even when you want to. Psychologists say that when you can successfully resist a habit 21 times, you have beaten it. The problem with sexual deviation, is that the temptation will always be around. It is just like an alcoholic. He may not drink but the temptation is always there. He may even no longer have the urge, but one disaster, one heart break, one calamity, and at his weakest point, that temptation will rear up again. Victory is not easy. It is a lifetime pursuit. The only failure is after falling we don't get back up and fight another day. As long as we fight; we are winning even when it seems hopeless because failures are stepping stones to success. Many of us if not most of us can thank God that we don't have to fight that fight. We do fight other battles, and by that can understand the homosexual. But if you are like me, even the thought of it is abhorrent and gross. Viscerally I think it is sick, but I don't condemn the person caught up in it. I understand human weakness.

I dont know. i have heard it has something to do with thier brain while they were in the womb they didnt get certian chemicals. I asked a gay person if they choose it or what. They said that they knew when they were in preschool that they were diffrent bc they had a crush on thier male teacher. They said they found this odd and never understood it till they found out later what a homosexual person was then they figured it out. He said that he would never choose to be gay if he could b/c of all the persucution but its just how he was born. They are on this earth bc well I dont know they just are. I know that some animals have gay tendensies and some frogs even are all female or all male and mate with one another but since they cant consive tadpoles they die off. Maybe gay people in a way are like those types of frogs accept they are in the human world.

One phrase in the bible that seems to get over looked much too often is " Judge not lest ye be judged " . Sexual preference is a choice . As much a choice as to weather or not to have sex at all . If an individual decides to live a homosexual life style . It is between them and thier maker . Unless a person imposses thier lifestyle upon me its none of my bussiness .

Every Foetus starts off Female.
Later it receives a large amount of either Male or Female Hormones.
A lot of oestrogen and the Foetus will be born Female, or getting Testosterone in abundance will turn it into a boy.
But sometimes this system fails, and the Baby is predominantly neither.
A Female with insufficient Oestrogen, will become a Lesbian, and insufficient Testosterone produces a Male with Female proclivities.
Some people, of course, make a conscious decision, when Adult, to change gender, but most are born with an uncontrollable desire to be a member of the opposite sex.....

From the text in your question, I'm surprised you can read any books, you can't spell and your grammar is terrible. I'm not sure if it has been scientifically proven that you are born homosexual, in some instances it can be something that happened in your childhood/teens that can cause you to 'go off' the opposite sex. In my case I was molested at the age of 9 by a neighbour's son aged 16. In those days 'children' were not sexually aware and the sight of a penis frightened the life out of me, as I thought it was a snake; hence also, my phobia of snakes!! You are what you are though and nobody should discriminate, especially those who purport to read the bible.

The jury is still out on this one - hormonal effects in the mother's womb, genetic or environmental factors, upbringing - nobody is quite sure. Whatever the reason, homo or hetero, we are all just people, and as far as I am concerned, a person's sexuality is their own private business. Other characteristics, such as honesty & integrity, are more important to me.
