1) Work environment is not motivating, its the same routine & less scope for growth & self improvement, extended working hours
2) At home, its just silence or fight with parents (may be due to generation gap),
3) I do not have any girlfriends, now i have lost confidence that i can any as i am already 28 yrs old
4) I am not finding anything interesting to look forward to in life

How to cope up with such a situation? I am getting depressed, frustrated.
Pls help me get some focus in life?

I was going out with this girl and we were getting in on quite seriously in the bedroom one night and her parents were out. She said 'let's do it' and I said 'no, let's wait a while. I don't want to rush things.' She went all withdrawn and broke up with me the next day. Any other time I would have said 'yea baby, lets get it on' but it would have been the quickest experience of her life that night....yes...I was about to blow, I wouldn't have lasted 5 seconds and instead of embarassing myself I turned her down. She was a babe. I am still really embarassed to this day! Please tell me if this was the right thing to do 'coz it still bugs me to this day! What would you have done?

i am having trouble locating any solid statistics on this issue. i am working on a report about how schools handle bullies and teasing, and i need to track how the columbine shootings (apirl, 1999) have impacted how schools react and what impact that has had on child, preteen, and teenage depression, self mutalation (cutting, etc..) and suicide.
i have tried numerous sources but can't find any solid numbers over any real amount of time?
any ideas???

I have been reading a bit about lottery winners who have went bankrupt after winning huge sums of money. One of the reasons being because they seem not to be able to say NO to charities, individuals and friends and family who want a piece of their winnings.
I find it ludacris myself that people would endanger their future and the future of their immediate family in this way when they win the lottery. Personally I would not give a dime to anyone until I was sure my stuff and my immediate family were ensured long term sercurity.

So I am wondering if others on here who with the knowledge that being too generous has really screwed over many a lottery winner to the point of being broke. Would you still say yes to all the charities and people after the money? Would you endanger your immediate family's security for distand family, friends, hard luck stories or the needs of charities? No way in hell I would. Would you?

My b/f's brother is 33 and lives at home. He works everyday and then goes home and stays in his room playing on the computer and etc. He only comes out of the room to eat and use the restroom. He won't socialize with the family and if you ask him something generally he raises his voice and says no or he's not interested or whatever. With these symptoms is it possibly a mental disorder that he may have? Oh yeah, we don't think he's ever had a girlfriend or anything and he isn't gay. He also has tons of swords hanging on his walls, which I'm afraid he may use on the family one day. Any suggestions as to what is going on mentally with him?
