I would risk my life for anybody who is younger than me.
If you call me a stupid then yes I am a stupid...And it is none of your business.

Of course if it was within my power I would save someone that I love from Death. Most of the time, I place the needs of others before my own, but I am trying to be more conscious of my own needs and desires.

It depends, if someone I loved dearly was drowning, no doubt about it. If the only way to save them was to keep them hooked up to life saving machines w/out any real means of them living a functional life, I would like to think not. If someone requested for me not to save them, well, i don't know.

Yes, just the very fact that I love someone dearly is
motivation enough to try to save them.
Love is unselfish & thinks of the loved one first.

Whether it is someone personally loved or a perfect stranger, it is the measurement of humanity to do so, even if the "death" does not take the form of the immediate. Those who work to preserve the environment of the world follow essentially the same drummer as, say, the fire fighter whose day-to-day life is chockful of life-saving opportunities.

I would save someone I love from death if I knew how. My children, granddaughter and husband I would give my own life for because. I would rather die knowing they had a chance to live then live with myself knowing they died and I could of saved them.

I don't know if I would want to die for their life, only because I think I have a lot more of life to experience, but I would always try to save someone from dying, because I think everyone deserves to live a little bit longer, and of course, because I love them.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13).”
There are many story where man gave up his own life for other just because of love.
These people did save some lives, helped multitudes of people on the attack sites, and accomplished the tremendous task of clearing all the dead bodies, rubble and debris from the destroyed buildings and aircrafts. They didn't concern themselves with their own comfort but unselfishly were more concerned about others - even to the point of losing their lives. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

I spent last September 24/7 by my girlfriends' side as she lay dying of lung cancer. This was after she spent five years taking care of me while I was waiting for a liver transplant. I was two weeks from dying when I got the transplant. I KNOW the wrong one of us died. I also know I would have taken her place if I could have, except that she would probably be feeling as terrible as I do, and I wouldn't wish that on her or anyone.

I'm one of those people that think of others, if you were to witness a young women being raped (never seem this women) are you saying you wouldn't help her if she were crying for help - pleading for you...........I would!!!! If it were a young child being bullied and I had no idea who this child was, I would do what i could to save that person. I guess I've seem to many scary movies - Watch that movie Hostel and see what you would do, who knows there are some crazy people like that in the world - I would DIE trying that's just me I like the thoughts of being a hero - you never forget those types of people

i would. but lets look at it from the other person's view point.
i don't think they'd be happy even though they got to live, because the very person whom they loved so dearly gave his/her life for the victim. i think the victim would be overcome by guilt and will not lead a normal live carrying the burden on their shoulders.
besides, its always easier said than done, by asking and answering this hypothetical question, we will not be put under so much stress that our own truism rears its ugly head.
