Psychology - June 2006

I have so many friends who started taking Saint John's Wort around the same time.....last year in June/July period......
Does anyone have a clue what is the reason behind this???
I can't believe that everyone is going through the rough period at the same time. Iam talking about 15-20 people

Im not gay. Never have been but over the summer out of boredom I guess, I have forced myself to believe Im gay. Now I can't even look at a guy in a magazine, or tv show without fear of being gay. I've never been sexually aroused by men so I believe this is paranoia. Can You help me get over this stupid fear?

I went to UCLA and finished with a degree in psychology. I opened up a small furniture store at the age of 25 and that didnt go to well so i closed it. I recently got my real estate license and 5 months into it, I decided it was not for me, so I'll do it as a side job. I'm a little hurt from these failures, but i know i should concentrate on my successes. I'm unfocused and unsure of what to do. I also beat myself down about everything and i get barely anything down. I feel as if i have lost discipline and care as much as i use to. Can anybody give me some advice on what to do.

are we born with a predefined set of skills that limit our analytical ability even the extent upto which we can learn or develop it? if we arent then how can we develop our analytical skills. do emotions diminish our ability to think rationally or do they sometimes enhance it? logical reasoning : can it be developed?? does is depend on a persons atittude and if attitude changes does it in turn change out anat skills?

I'm currently working towards my Bachelor's in psychology, and when I graduate I plan on getting my master's in I/O psych. I'm required to do an unpaid practicum before I graduate that is related to my future goals in psychology. I would love to be a "volunteer organizational developer" and all, but that won't work since I don't have any experience in that area. Do you have any ideas?
