To dream not *about* dying, or the *portent* of your death, but to dream that you indeed died within your dream?
If this is possible, are there any adverse effects from this type of dream?

Hello! many times that simply indicates that an issue, a career, or a "chapter" of your life is coming to an end.

It happened to me many years ago. I still remember that part of the dream - I was outdoors and got shot by a gun-wielding criminal of some kind. I fell to the ground and died. That was the end of the dream. No adverse effects as far as I can tell.

Yes, I believe we all experience that sometimes. Nothing to worry about. It may take the whole day to shake the strange feeling off. Nothing important

Cheers :)
