You are not in reality but you are focusing on your past or possibly future worries.

it's easy to preach to the choir... possible to sell ice to the eskimos... not so much fun to sell oil company executives on global warming.

do you hold your tongue until you know where another person stands on an issue, then agree or disagree? or do you avoid the verbal dance and let loose with your take on things first?

more: has your approach ever gotten you into a sticky situation? can you backtrack well if you need to?

The link between eating and obesity is one of the most direct there is, and yet there are still millions of people in the U.S. who are obese. Often even those who talk about "personal responsibility" and who claim that poverty is a choice, that faith is a choice, etc... tend to be obese or overweight and are ironically incapable of "choosing" to lose weight in order to improve their health. Why is this the case?

Are these people simply being irresponsible and making the wrong choices, or is the biological drive to consume, coupled with an environment that encourages gluttony, too strong to overcome? And if we have that little control in a situation with such an obvious correlation between action and result, how much control do we have when it comes to rising above poverty, for example?

How much control do people really have over the choices they make? What percentage of choice is genetically or environmentally influenced, and what percentage can truly be attributed to free will?

Of the four or five losers I knew, these were the three common factors. Besides when they lie about military service, such as being (ex-)Navy SEAL, Marine RECON, Army Ranger/Green Beret, or Delta Force; they also lie about Mixed Martial Arts training with Ken Shamrock or Tito Ortiz, or go even further and say they are a "cage fighter". They also lie about experiancing a close personal death, such as a wife, girlfriend or fiance.

What does someone from your past (like an ex) wearing white from head to toe and looking about 3 years younger mean in a dream? We were in an outside setting and it was sunny out..He was walking and looking back while chuckling and I was watching him..He was walking by himself while his friends were calling for him. What does this mean in a dream?? He was also almost glowing..

Any psychology guru's out there?
What are some problems that sometimes arise in women that grew up without a mother (died giving birth)? I know we discussed this in a psych class back in college but I forget everything and google isn't helping much. I'm sure it depends on many factors in the childhood, but what if she had a good father and otherwise "normal" youth? Are there any problems I should look for or be aware of? Any emotional needs that need extra attention? I'm dating a great woman in her late 20's. We're about the same age and this hasn't been an issue other then she's afraid she might not be a good mother in the future because of it. Got any web sites I could read? Thanks!

Okay, the truman show, with jim carrey? The whole guy's life is set up and there are hidden cameras all throughout his small town, in his house, his car, one on his ring and EVERYONE is an actor. He begins to catch on and notice very odd things. So, my question, have you had any instances where you've thought you were being set-up? Like, things are just TOO weird to be reality? I know I've suspected this many a time...AND I KNOW YOU'RE ALL IN ON IT!

I was using the urinal in a public restroom today that has a mechanism that automatically flushes after you walk away. I got to thinking.. Is that a motion sensor of sorts or could someone really be watching you from a remote location waiting for you to "finish" so that they can remotely activate the flusher.

A girl asked a now resolved question a while back that asked about earliest memories. I was stunned at how many people claimed to have memories of when they were a few weeks or months old. One girl claimed to remember sitting on her mums shoulders at 3 months old. It's impossible and it really annoyed me that she won the best answer. I believe the mind doesn't develop enough to have memories until 2-3 years of age and Im going to research this but would love to hear what others thing. I know that if you have seen photos of experiences when you were very young later on you may think they are memories but they aren't, it's just a memory of the photo you saw...my earliest memories are of around 3 years old. This annoyed me so much that people wrote such rubbish that I wanted to get feedback from others.
