There's no misogyny involved in this. Some may believe that the number one connotates superiority, but to me it's only a numeral.

It's actually called Synaesthesia. Some people associate numbers with colors, or colors with smells, or tastes with shapes, or music with colors, and so on. It's not a common way of thinking, but there's nothing wrong with it.

There is an interesting book about this called "The Man Who Tasted Shapes". The reference is below.

I would call that ridiculous. Everybody knows that you should associate desert foods with people (plus you have two numbers for female, your system's a little weird).

Cupcakes - Hot women
Flan - Mexican women
Watermelon - Big women
Big Sticks - Men
Marachino Cherries - Young people
Pies - Old people. Only old people like pies. Kinda weird.

I have done that as far back as I can remember... Some numbers are neutral sex like 7. I not only think of them having a sex but also a personality.

9 is a very old bitchey female

Thanks for asking the question.. Was thginking about asking it myself..

there's only 2 genders, how many numbers could you associate with them?

p.s. does hermaphrodite count? What about transexual? is that like a 7 1/2?

I don't know, but I think the fact that you associate "male" with the number "1" says something...

Eh. I do that. I think most people subconciouly assign genders to inanimate objects. Some languages even have "masculine" and "feminine" nouns.

I kinda do that too, with all kinds of stuff. Like to me, certain pool balls are males and females. I don't know what it's called, but I hope you find out because I have that, too!
