You said it yourself "I know I should concentrate on my successes" and that is what you could choose to do. Like Thomas Edison said, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." And, Edward de Bono said, "It is better to have enough ideas for some of them to be wrong, than to be always right by having no ideas at all."
Take a deep breath, pat yourself on the back and move forward. I believe someday the sum of all your experiences will culminate into the perfect job.

I certainly give you credit for getting such qualifications . Your failures are not failures , I think you are perhaps discovering where you are MOST happy. Since you continued all those years to get a psychology degree (which indicates you have a lot of knowledge) you should go look into some jobs where you can use your skills now. I wonder why you went into opening a small furniture store after college rather then look for a job suited to your degree? You have a degree - something most people wished they had so be happy with your achievement . Best of luck!

> With a degree in Psychology (success) why open a furniture stores? Easy/quick profit? No it failed. Next you get a R.E. license and after 5 mos. you quit. Did you expect easy/quick profit? You failed again.
> Choose your next venture more carefully. Almost doesn't matter what it is; what matters is the PASSION you bring to it.
> The PASSION you bring to this effort will dictate the effort and energy that you'll expend to make a success of this.
> It's not a guarantee, but without the PASSION, you better be very lucky if you plan on succeeding.
> Good Luck

I'd say the positive is that you are obviously not settling for a job you hate like so many stooges out there. Plus, you're ready to take on something else, alot of people give up and just bounce around. Don't go back to school, that's just delaying the career path problem. A psychology degree, let alone a college degree in general opens up alot of doors, so check as many as you need to out!

Why dont you take 6 months off and travel around the country taking up jobs where you can. Sometimes backing out of the mainstream of what you are doing and taking a look elsewhere - even the successes and failures of anonymous people (ones you will meet along the way) strengthens you in oh so many ways. You probably are too hard on yourself. You need to abandon yourself to some risk now - it will change you.

#1. Confidence is the key to success. You are so eligible for soooo many jobs out there. Maybe you should open another business, turn a hobby into business. Sell on ebay, people make millions from ebay. Invent something. Im independent and i don't like working for anything and i don't rely on anyone so i try to be creative and think of way to make money myself. Just be creative and keep your chin up high.

Do anything you want! Do them all!
At 27 years of age you can have SEVERAL careers. Do not get stuck into thinking that what you do today - study for, train for, get educated in - is the end-all, be-all of your life.
Where we start and where we find ourself and what we are are ALL very, very different things.
I started out as one thing many years ago. I have become things I never imagined, so cant even begin to consider what I may possibly become.
Your only "failure" is not finding out who you are and what makes you happy.

I think you need some discipline in your life. With college you could probably enter the Army as a 2nd lieutenant. Travel, adventure and lots of cute girls hiding thier faces behind vails.

Try a Web based business. They are cheap to start, and you can do other things part- time like counseling kids or waiting tables/ bartending. Just get out in the world and explore.
