I had a similar thing happen to me in my teen years. A bunch of my friends, who were female, decided they were all lesbians. This made me think that I might be one too! If I'm hanging out with a bunch of lesbians, it would make sense.
But I spent a lot of time testing these thoughts and exploring my own soul and I realized that I was straight, even if I was the only one!
The main thing to do here is to consider that it's a possibility and think about what that would mean for you. The first thing you have to do is get over the fear, because you'll never be able to know for sure if you don't do that first. Once you do, just spend some time with yourself, getting to know you, etc. You should come out of it with no doubts, one way or the other.

i guess the key is, figuring out why you made yourself believe you were gay in the first place. There must have been a key event that triggered the fear... My question would be, "why try to make yourself gay out of boredom?"... especially since it seems to be such an issue for you... do you enjoy tormenting yourself? If you truly believe it is an irrational fear, then acknowledge it and let it pass... the more you freak out about it, the more you stress yourself out... the worst the fear affects you.

My idea is that you're not gay. Such paranoia can happen. You don't have to get obsessive about it and scare yourself. You're not actually sucked into a black hole or something like you may feel.
Only action you may have to take is to push the thoughts away when they arrive. Not questioning them is not "not facing your fear". You just don't give more attention and importance to them strange thoughts. Just like monsters in a closet. It's not anything hiding in you.
Cheers :)

Paranoia? maybe. I think it's more homophobia than anything. If you're truely not gay, get a girlfriend and hang out with the guys, like you normally would. You will at least know for sure.

This is either a phobia or obessive compulsive disorder. A therapist could help you with it. Sounds more like OCD because its not really a fear, its a thought which you can't get out of your mind that is unpleasant and makes you uncomfortalbe.

1. Go to a gay porn site.
2. Look around.
3. Notice that you are either a. aroused, or b. not aroused.
4a. Accept that you are gay.
4b. Accept that you are straight and nothing will change that.

Well you have to believe in yourself. If you said your not gay then your not but when you contradict yourself it sounds like you are. So when you get up you need to say to yourself I'm I going to be straight or gay. That is your decision to make.
