A lucid dream is when you realize you're dreaming, and can 'take control'. I've a very few, and they're awesome!

Seriously, when i was 8-12 years old - half an hour seemed like a lifetime. I remember looking upon 2-3 hours of waiting as almost what i percieve to be a whole day as my current self.

I'm 21 now and damn the time just goes by too fast. I look at my Dad now and he's 47, it only seems like a few weeks ago that we celebrated his 40th and soon before i know it - it'll be his 50th.

I wonder if every generation felt like this - or if time is in fact speeding up in proportion to the universe expanding. Outlandish theory, i know. But still, could someone explain the mental effects of age and why it makes us percieve the passage of time as shorter as we get older.

It's just really getting to me - every day that passes is a missed oppurtunity and there is simply not enough time to follow all the paths i wish to take. It sucks that you have to pick one path and go with it no matter what. Time just doesn't allow second chances.

I really hope there is life after death.

A curious social phenomenon in the '70s was the "laundry thief". People were continually being advised to take their washing in at night because it was at risk from these individuals. They primarily targeted ladie's panties for their, ahem, collections.

But you never seem to hear of this crime nowadays- what became of them?

I'm talking about the UK here , really. I can fully appreciate why no- one in the US would risk a belly full of lead just for an old pair of nickers!!

You can hardly say a thing without offending someone. It's not just race anymore it's old, young, short, tall, male. female, fat, thin etc....Why can't we just have an opinion without fear of offending or being slapped down for daring to say it out loud? I hate it!!
