It would seem to me that the services surrounding health care would be motivated to decrease their costs and prices to compete with each other for patients. For example, the cost of hospital care skyrockets compared to wages, products and services in other non-health care areas. Even my insurance company would likely send me to one hospital over another if the costs were less for similar care. What gives? .

I guess I'm asking what's the difference between a "Federal Reserve note" and a "U.S. dollar bill." They don't just mean government bonds, do they?

ok i know this is a wack question but if you said about 3.30 Euros what could you get? A soda? A piece of clothing?

SO BASICALLY WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS: how big is the market for a simple consumer product priced at less than 3.30 Euros? Particulary for things used in the household

Lets face it -you gotta export to sell our goods and services to the countries selling us most of what we buy in the US..
When you elimnate the impact of all gov.,fed/state/local the military and all the support directly or indirectlly of the people who have jobs because of Government we're only talking30-40%%of total work force and the majority of their work is paid for by people who work for or because of the gvernment----------------------
So what are we going to export except money and related prodict----not much demand overseas for lawn boys or fast food workers-----------what?-----------What is the future of the US economy and its direct effect on you?

for example, should there be made a sort of ristricted capitalisme
where private persons, should not be able to own, lets say, more than 10 million dollar, and the rest goes back to the state for the benefit of all, to help the 40 million people living in the usa under the poverty line, or to stop personal enrichment by third world leaders, forcing banks worldwide to give insights, ect
you cannot disregard capitalisme completely, but restrict it.
