About a year ago I found a cute flash video demonstrating graphically and pictorally changes in global inequality and poverty throughout the last 50 years. It was well done and you could stop it at any time and click on specific countries for more information - you could also fast forward and rewind to see how the percentiles changed over the years. I am desperate to find it again but I 've lost the link!!!

If everyone conducted their business as I do, which is pay as you go? The only thing I owe on is my home, and I owe less than 20% of the market value, have been paying it down fast. I save and buy a car, pay the entire credit card bill every month. If NO ONE in this country was strung out on credit, what would happen with the economy?

Serious students of economics only, please.

Is there only two ways road pricing can work morally without just basically pricing out the poorer motorists?

The only fair ways i can think of road pricing are by either;
1. Offering different tariffs to different income households (although that would in my opinion eliminate the point of road pricing)
2. Hypothecating the funds raised into public transport, thus improving public transport and this would not only get people who can't afford the prices onto public transport but also people who see it as a more attractive option which would be possible via hypothecation.

Are these the only fair ways to implement road pricing or am i being naive?

In order for Africa to be lifted out of debt/poverty, the Western capitalists will have to stop exploiting Africa. If this ever does occur, how can our capitalist economies in the west function without exploitation?
