and if you search yahoo for it you get the sites listed below which if you read you will find a lot of information on labour and capitalism and you should be able to put together a paper from this information

the quote basically paints capitalism as a parastite-like monster that feeds of its workers. The image about sucking blood implies that the workers are far worse off after their encounter with capitalism. It also seems to express the idea that capitalism has been this way since is very inception, almost as if leeching off its workers and leaving them drained was its purpose. That's my take on it, hope it helps...

Capitalism (big business) thirsts for, (needs) labor to do its work, to make its money. I do not necessarily agree with this however.
