I would. More time to do what you want, less time spent conforming to our greedy economy.
What do you all think? Please give reasons!

I am a proud capitalist. Considering that capitalism inherently distributes wealth disproportionately among the citizens of a particular society, does a capital gains tax that is much lower than the income tax further contribute to disproportionality of wealth accumulation? I believe in a flat taxation of income. Why shouldn't capital gains be taxed at the same rate as an individual's income? After all, income is income....right? Can anyone make the argument that a capital gains tax that is the same as the income tax would discourage investment? Investors will still try to maximize their investment's earnings despite the rate of taxation. Also, equalizing the capital gains tax with the income tax would increase revenues from the wealthiest and thereby decrease the tax burden of those not of the "investor class". Do you agree? If not, why?

There are WANTS &. NEEDS in all society. If we focus on the NEEDS and shed the WANTS or special interests or (Pork), we would be able to start producing results and progress throughout the planet. Have a positive effect on ALL of society and not just certain portions or specific areas. Special interest projects take away from society and causes dreaded financial results in the majority of cases, whereas, if we focus on fundamentals and put constraints on wasteful and abusive special interest projects, cut the public funding for special interests, we can then turn those funds into supporting the fundamentals of societies and even rid a large portion of fraud that often occurs in the special interest arena. Shed the dread and move ahead! Note: Click Social Science below; the selections are: Anthropology, Economics, Women's Studies, Other-Social Science, Psychology & Sociology... Notice no "Men's Studies?" THIS is a worldwide ALERT! or RED FLAG! Men are now left behind ALL social studies.

It would seem that poor people who suddenly find themselves instantly wealthy would spend wisely and be frugal. In reality, most people who find themselves suddenly rich, like the dot com crowds and lottery winners, spend like crazy. Huge parties. Lavish homes. Tons of toys.

I was wondering this, because if I threw everything that I owned away, made in China, my house would be practically empty. Wal*Mart, Big-Lots, K-Mart, Target, Flea Markets, etc... would run out of stuff to sell.

this eats me alive!!! i don't understand why these celebs...'movie and tv', bring in massive amts. of money, but our teachers, police officers, fire fighters, etc. bring a piss more amt. of maybe 30 to 40 thousand a year! How is this fair? and why when a disater happens, they come to us to donate money....couldn't they just take a million or 2 from each celeb. and be on our way to a great start? i know that a lot of celebs help out a great deal, but they have a lot more $ to work with than the average american! Does anyone else think of things like this, or is it just me?
