I have tried the BLS website but have only found wage data by occupation for the current year. I appreciate an leads. Thank you.

Extensive googling has not overtuned a suitable answer yet. Most site will give wages and salaries, but only for the current year. For my research I will need at least 15 years of wages for specific occupations. I appreciate your help.

Thanks, I'd use the occupational groupings if I have too but ideally I would be able to differentiate between specific occupations: electrical engineers, nuclear physicists, lab technician, etc.

I think on the US Dept of Labor website.
Sorry...the 1970 part might be a problem there.
Have you googled a search by "Chemists' Wages 1970" perhaps?

There is usually Census data available that is tied to occupational groupings over periods of time when the census was taken.

Search google for theh answer you need... Base salaries from the US Deptment of Labor. Salary search.
