Not only white people, but all races are descended from Africans. The first migrations out of Africa occurred about a million years ago, when homo ergaster, a primitive human ancestor, migrated out of Africa into Europe, where they evolved into Neanderthal Man, and into Asia, where they evolved into Java Man. However, these archaic species were eventually replaced by homo sapiens, who migrated out of Africa about 50,000 years ago. Those who settled in Northern Europe lost their skin pigmentation because of reduced exposure to sunlight at high latitudes. The white people also developed long noses and thin lips as an adaptation to the cold. However, all races are homo sapiens, who recently migrated out of Africa, so all human beings are basically Africans.

If you think I'm making this up, do some research on the evolution of humanity.

I hear the cliche, "That's the greatest thing since sliced bread" all the time, and I would just like to know, what is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Personally, I think sliced bread id vastly overrated.

Should the Genesis account of creation be considered as an alternative to the theory of evolution? Some people prefer creation by God in a short time to evolution by random chance over billions of years. I am not suggesting that we put God back into schools, but that Creation be a valid alternative to evolution as the origin of mankind.

Rap/ hip hop may seem like a new music phenomenon but it is not. It started in West Africa centuries ago, in the regions of Togo and Benin. In these regions, there is a tribe of people where the men look very young and EVERY LAST WOMAN looks really old (like over 80 yrs old, and to show wrinkles on dark skin is very hard to do) But anyway, the women look so old because at the age of 13 they are sold into concubinage, start having kids, and build the homes, gather the food, and raise the children. The man does absolutely NOTHING. The men lie around and eat, talk, and play music. And the women do all the work.
In my opinion, this is a tradition that has been carried over from Togo and Benin.

During the Transatlantic slave trade, many of the people who were sold came from Togo and Benin. These people populated the U.S. Slaves also came from Nigeria. But they were sent to Brazil, Europe, and other places. Nigerians typically do not like Rap, and the descendants of Nigerians in other countries ALL OVER THE WORLD do not like the message or beat of rap or hip hop music. Neither do other people from other African nations.
But many people of Togolese and Benin descent do. That is why Rap is only popular in the U.S.A. It is not just a modern day cultural phenomenon. It is a passed on, generational thing.
If you don't believe me ask any person from Nigeria, Morocco, Egypt, Ethiopia, or Somalia (or anywhere else) and see if they dislike rap. 9 times out of 9, they will say that they hate it.

They usually prefer Ethiopian influenced music such as Old Gospel music (it sounds like "Man of Constant Sorrow" from O Brother Where art thou.), blues, jazz, or something with wind , percussions and string instruments (like harps, violins, or pianos). That is the kind of music most Africans who are not from Togo and Benin like.

Rap and hip hop have spread from Togo and Benin, much like Voodoo and Hoodoo.

If we are honest isn't everyone a racist? This was the theme of the movie "CRASH". You have the village idiot that runs about using racial slurs and his racism is obvious. Do civilized people have racial bias which manifests itself in other ways. example: Not sitting next to someone on the subway because he or she is of another race?

The loudest cheer at a hockey game comes when a fight breaks out. Pugilism is actually considered a sport. We enjoy violent movies and watching people get blown away. Also humans are the only animals with a capacity for so much violence. Most animals posture and take threatening positions before they actually resort to violence. Why are humans so different?
