i know they are a parity or something but i think in a sick twisted way thy are trying to show how uneducated cavemen were while pretending to say cavemen are smart. if it werent for cavemen then we wouldnt have known things about art or fire and baseball might not have been invented (they had big sticks that we adopted for use in baseball)

1. If we all evolved, WHY ARE THERE SO MANY DIFFERENT LANGUAGES?
2. Can you tell me what Chinese, French, Egyptian, etc. monkey evolved into to suggest that evolution truly exist.

This is not to insult you in any way, I would truly like to know where I'll end up when I die.

They can adapt their colour to their surroundings, humans can't. There are lots of animals in the world that can do things that humas can't. Why do we think we are the best and most successful species in the world?????

I know they had fire and animal skins and clothes to keep them warm, but I'm sure they still would've been really cold. Where I'm at its minus 15 degrees Fahrenheit, and even with gloves, a jacket, and all the winter gear I'm still cold. How did they handle the cold?

I really don't understand how 'scientists' can reconstruct what a human nose looked like. Isn't the nose composed mostly of cartilage and flesh? I have never seen a skull ( I've been to the killing fields in Kampuchia) that ever had anything except a hole where the nose was. How do they really know if Dante's nose had a hook on it?

As I understand it, homo sapiens have been on this planet for at least 50K years, and perhaps for as long as 200K years. This is even when you exclude species closely related to homo sapiens, such as homo erectus and the like. So if we have lived as intelligent beings for as long as we have, why has it been so recent (only about 5-15K years) that we developed civilization? It seems like 35-45K years is a long time for a species as intelligent as ours to go w/o developing large scale civilizations?

The ancient egyptians used slaves. I'm sure the greeks, romans and aztecs used slaves. And of course, america was built with the african slave trade.

Therefore, shouldn't people be grateful for slavery, despite of course the obvious hardship

Australopithicus ramidus was thought to be the earliest bipedal near hominid. As of 1996 much research was still needed. I hope that someone can fill me in on how the research is going and what new discoveries have been made regarding these fossilized remains?

About 10 years ago during an Olympic Track and Field event in which (I believe) Jackie Joyner Kersy (sp?) was running, the comentator said that black people have a genetic something-something in their hip area that makes them able to run faster than people of other races. Can anyone make an intelligent comment on that? No racial epithets, please.

Hi, my name is Yasirah. I have a deep interest in learning more about Gulf Arabian culture (Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc). My interest is more cultural than political/religious. Im not studying anthropology...but i would like to know what opportunities would i have available to me to meet the women of the culture and learn about their everyday lives whether it is formal or informally. I was thinking i may have an opportunity if a study or work there. Can anybody tell me what to expect and what my situation would be like? I would also like to know if there are currently any student exchange/cultural exchange problems. I really need your help. Thankyou so much!
