All the other answerers were nutty! There IS a British look and it comes from the use of the mouth/chin & cheek muscles etc for the forming of the words of the language, and also the intonations that are peculiarly British.
There are certain sounds that are in the Brit vocab that the American English does not have.
I do not know if anyone has done a scientific study about this but they should. Good question. I can do it too, btw.

I reckon the Brits are a pretty mixed bunch - we've been invaded by everyone over the centuries (bit of scandinavian, french, celt etc). The posh ones are easy to spot though (horsey faces).

We're really mongrels, a bit of French, Danish, German, you name it,it's in there. Maybe it's more to do with how we dress, how we carry ourselves, body language etc??

There are none, we are a mixed race. The stereotype is florid complexion etc, but you don't see many.
