Majoring in Anthropology, but want to know what type of jobs are outhere for this major.

You should probably begin making good contacts as it may not be easy to get a well paying job in your field, but they are out there. It may just take a little more persistence, and you may need to make sure that you have a complement of skills to bring to any position.

If you want to continue your education in this field you may be able to work in research or teach at a university. Other options include work at archaeological digs, in museums, in libraries, and in forensics. Many nonprofit organizations, government departments, and corporations offer opportunities if you look for them and make sure that you can present yourself as a well rounded individual with flexible skills.

Archaeology technician, museum administration, Cultural resource management, education (ie tour guide for cultural sites) Business anthropology, Graduate/Med/Law school, don't let anyone tell you that you can't get a job with an Anthro. degree. It's better to make a few dollars less than be a business major.

I have a BA degree in Anthropology and I just got a job where I will be a research coordinator for Orthopaedic studies.

Assistant at some museum.

Work on a dig

Journalism job as an assistant editor and maybe eventually editor.

Work at a publisher that does technical books as a reader.

u might get one with a lab thats doing research on such things, i know IBM is on such a study, and natianal geographic would be interested in u
