In my dream, I was hearing and seeing a semi-real life (in a make believe form) made-for-TV cartoon play before my eyes. The sound of the narrator’s voice was older and wise sounding. The narrator was talking about how a little boy cried when a mean old man took his pet pig and had its head cut off. Then, the little boy talked to his dad after having cried, and pleaded “Why did he do such a thing!” Then the boy said, “Piggy Wiggy was no bear, Piggy Wiggy had no head nor hair, Piggy Wiggy wasn’t Piggy, Wiggy?” Then, I saw the piglet’s head mounted to a roughly carved wooden body. The boy cried “Why did they do this to you, Piggy Wiggy?” Then the boy’s father said to me, “Did you ever wonder why they killed pigs in order to make bacon? I sure did.” I replied, “Well, for me it was ‘why do they have to kill cows in order to make ice cream?’.”

Then, as I was saying this, I began traveling in my body, floating about 30-50 feet in the air, and I traveled down a nearby road. I saw a stuffed black and white toy cow, which was near the road in someone’s front yard.

The next thing, I was talking with three college-aged students, about 21-22 years old. It was the either the year 1979 or 1980, as I could see these numbers in my mind’s eye. Their clothes, hairstyles, etc. reflected this very well. I could hear the song “Boogie Oogie Oogie” playing from a small radio in another room. These people were all about acting “cool” and putting on airs. I really felt like I had traveled back in time. The young woman, who was 22, was phony, and wore large frame glasses (just like those that were popular in the early 1980s), and she had an attitude. There were two guys there as well. One guy was wearing a thin polyurethane jacket with lettering, and had very curly hair, while the other guy had kind of medium-length, dark slightly puffy hair. I realized that I was in someone else’s body when I was talking to these people. I remember seeing the several of the rooms in the split-level ranch house, which was disorganized, and the small deck attached to the side of the house. I asked the woman about her drug use, which seemed to make her very defensive. The guys more or less mimicked her in a mild way in order to meet her approval.

I've had many feminist's block me for no apparent reason. Yet, I'm confident that if these folk were to speak with some of their Sistah's who haven't blocked me, they'd find even in PM's I am pretty decent and respectful...

So, the only reason I can fathom for their decision to block - is cowardice. What do others think?

There's a lot of talk of a 'soft landing' with the drop in house prices and the slow down of the economy but surely there will be some clear consequences to the fact that people in Ireland are in quite a lot of debt. Any ideas of what we can expect?

I keep having nightmares all the time. I had at least 4 last night. And each one had to do with my kids or me being killed. My first one some guy broke into our home and stabbed my 1 year old in front of me, my second dream a guy stole my truck ( I don't have a truck) and he came back and shot me. Then another dream somebody took off with my 2 year old and killed him. And then in my last dream some guy was outside my window shooting at me trying to kill me. How can I stop having such graphic dreams about my family being killed? Does anybody know what the dreams stand for?

I looked around
The sky was interesting
The moon was in the white sky and the sun was going down

I looked around
There were comforters and comfortees
I was suppose to be a comforter

I looked around like a tourist
as if the funeral-to-be was a spectacle
I was in my role of observer
and I saw my co-worker’s white face
without makeup was still quite pretty
Did her grief add to or subtract from her beauty?

I saw the mounds of dirt
some with flowers and some without
I tried not to think what it meant
what those mounds of dirt meant

The wife of the dead man fainted
I had been told that she didn’t love her husband
Then I remembered my friend telling me
the dead man took too long to die
the family prayed for his death

to work for. As we approached the door, I saw a snake hanging from a tree near the door and I stepped back. My step daughter however, continued towards the door and appeared to be unafraid of the snake. No one else appeared in the dream and I have no idea why we were going to his house. What is the interpretation of this dream:)

My father was very physically & emotionally abusive. He was the kind of man they made movies about, he beat my mother and my sisters & myself. More me than my two sisters, maybe because I was a male...as I grew up he became more threatened by my size. At 16 he threw me out of the house, I lived in the back seat of a '68 Nova for 2 years. I did get an apartment and put myself through school. I am married with 3 children of my own, a wonderful wife a 2 grown children, a wonderful life. My mother did divorce my father (finally) 15 years ago. I have a excellent relationship of course with my mother and sisters...we are still healing. My father is now 70 and he never mentions the things of the past. It's almost as if he doesn't want to remember the truth of what happened. For some reason I feel a need to confront him...I wonder about my own motives, I don't think I want to hurt him...but I "NEED" him to acknowledge what happened..I don't know why.

Does he remember?
