I'm doing a research paper, and I'm interested in hearing some candid opinions regarding bisexuality. I initially tried to do this survery with some specific questions, but I think it would be better if I could get just some candid open ended responses. I'm interested in knowing peoples opinions on many different aspects of bisexuality. Do you think bisexuals behave differently from heterosexuals or homosexuals? Do you think people are born bisexual? Do you think bisexuality even exists?...and so on

If you are bisexual, what stereotypes do you think come along with being bisexual? Are any of these stereotypes at all valid? How do you think bisexuals are viewed/treated by the gay community?.. and so on.

These questions are just guides. Please feel free to discuss whatever you wish.

I'm interested in everyone's opinion, no matter what it may be.

Also, if you could indicate your sex and sexual preference, I would be appreciative. Thank you!

Or is Christopher Hitchens completely out of touch? See article and respond:

http://www.vanityfair.com/culture/features/2007/01/hitchens200701

I was personally offended by this article, because Hitchens assumes the "male" brand of humor is the only sort of humor that is relevant. He insists that women cannot be funny because they don't like poop jokes (which, indeed, some women do!). He also claims that our culture does not value female humor, and men don't particularly appreciate in a mate. interesting, because, in my experience, funny men appreciate funny women, unfunny men don't.

What do you think? ARE men funnier than women? Why is this idea prevalant? Is the article sexist?

well..maybe evolution is more accurate :)

But I think that they are very interesting and that they are already influencing things for the good in the US and are doing more and more. I'm sure that they will be a serious part of the business world and affect the economy. And not just in the US.

And like my question suggests..they are doing it quietly. I don't think that many people are even aware of them as a trend. I picked up on them just recently myself.

I don't really want to call it a feminist thing even though a Chicana entrepreneur is feminist and rad where it counts in real life. I think that the change is more wide.

What do you think?

The first night I dreamed I was struck by lightening, I was looking up into the sky and watched the bolt come down right at me. I woke immediately at impact. Next night I dreamed that a man and a rocking chair fell from a plane and landed right next to me. What can these mean???

I had a dream about a week ago and there were all of these puppies (probably because i thought my friend had been talking about them earlier that day) and they were helping me flip a house (yeah, i know) and then all of a sudden this hawk comes out of nowhere and starts to attack the birds! afterwards he turned into this kid that i know and still was attacking the birds, but that's not the point. then yesterday, i hadn't been on daily snopes in awhile and then when i went on there, i saw this article and it was about a hawk attacking small dogs and puppies!

that when you get really mad over something, there is always someone looking at you like you're crazy. like getting mad isn't a natural human emotion that ever deals with in different ways. i hate my friends who are always so sunshinny happy. it makes me feel inadequate and inferior.

Do you avoid buying gender stereotypical toys for kids? I was at Costco the other day and saw a pink kitchen set for kids, I wondered if a feminist would have bought something like that for a girl? Would you buy something like that for a little boy to break the stereotypes?

i always hold my emotions in and never show anything of what im feeling. well it builds up and shows as anxiety. REALLY BAD ANXIETY!! umm im just really confused about everything. i was wrestling/playing with our dog last night so my arms got all cut up because we were playing too hard. but then i made it worse, by scratching it myself. so my counselor thinks im a cutter, but way deep down i know im not, even though i sort of admitted to cutting. and my stomach got cut because the dog jumped on me. so she made the assistant principal come in and i had to show them my stomach, which was very awkward.they just said lift up your shirt and that was it. im also addicted to caffeine. and sometimes i lash out so she thinks i have a anger problem too. she wants me to join a support group for the anger, and join this "be the change" club. im just so confused about everything. how to i deal/sort all this out? i would really appreciate some help.

Lately my dreams seem very realistic and are coming true. They consist mostly on the weather. Everytime I dream of a hazardous weather situation somewhere in the world, a week or month later, it's in the news. I recently had a dream of a tornado hitting Staten Island, NY and a tsunami caused by a tornado or hurricane, hitting either the pacific or caribbean ocean. Does this mean i'm dying? I been told people who are dying have heightened senses. Only answer if you can relate.

Have an extremely unattractive size 2 woman or beautifal size 14. I do realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and comes in all shapes and forms, but just based on looks not personality.

It is very common that girls value their girlfriends' approval on everything: men, clothes, jobs, relationships, etc... Guys usually couldnt care less what other guys think. So ladies, why do you let your friends rule your mind?

i have been told that is i think about something enough, it will be easyer to do it. i find that idea to be compleet BS. this is most apparent with women. i can spend all day comming up with ineas and stratagies on how to deal with women, but when i try any of thoes thoughts i cant do it. i do somuch better when i just get up, eat, get dressed, walkoutside and start dealing with people with out thinking.

so who was the idiot that came up with this idea?. the idea that if you thinkabout it you can do it.
