It depends on why I am nervous. If I'm nervous with meeting new people or something small and ordinary I tend to get quiet, and try to get in my comfort zone. (Staying around people I know or finding something to keep my mouth occupied, like eating, or chewing or only talking to people I know.

If I'm nervous because I messed up. ( forgot to do something at work. Forgot to pay a bill.) If it's something that invokes a large amount of anxiety my throat will get dry, I'll feel sick. My heart will speed up and I can hear every beat extra loud in my ears. And, if I'm really overly stressed I'll have a panic attack. I'll get all red and splotchy and lose my breath, but no I don't get sweaty... I do laugh though.. and sometimes I'll say mean things.

The reaction replaced into later acknowledged by way of fact the 1st degree of a popular version syndrome that regulates rigidity responses between vertebrates and different organisms. The onset of a rigidity reaction is linked with specific physiological movements in the sympathetic worried equipment, in general brought about by ability of launch of adrenaline and norepinephrine from the medulla of the adrenal glands. the launch is added on by ability of acetylcholine released from preganglionic sympathetic nerves. those catecholamine hormones facilitate on the spot actual reactions by ability of triggering will advance in coronary heart value and respiration, constricting blood vessels and tightening muscle groups. An abundance of catecholamines at neuroreceptor web pages enables reliance on spontaneous or intuitive behaviors frequently related to wrestle or get away. often, while a individual is in a serene, unstimulated state, the "firing" of neurons in the locus ceruleus is minimum. a diverse stimulus, as quickly as perceived, is relayed from the sensory cortex of the recommendations throughout the thalamus to the recommendations stem. That path of signaling will advance the value of noradrenergic interest in the locus ceruleus, and the guy will become alert and conscious of the ambience. If a stimulus is perceived as a gamble, a greater extreme and prolonged discharge of the locus ceruleus activates the sympathetic branch of the autonomic worried equipment (Thase & Howland, 1995). The activation of the sympathetic worried equipment finally ends up in the launch of norepinephrine from nerve endings appearing on the coronary heart, blood vessels, respiration centers, and different web pages. the consequent physiological adjustments symbolize a significant area of the extreme rigidity reaction. the different significant participant in the extreme rigidity reaction is the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis.

When I am nervous, my eyes kinda dart around. That is unfortunate because it makes me look like I have done something wrong, when usually it is just because my blood sugar is messing up.

If I am really nervous, I talk a lot which is also my next sign that my blood sugar is getting ready to hit bottom.
