They are similar in that one cannot exist without the other. There can be no sunrise, without a sunset.

If there was no hate, then mankind would simply not know just how lucky we are to give and receive love.

If there was no love, then mankind would never indulge in the sick, guilty pleasures achieved from cruelty.

Life is paired with death, and love with hate.
