Let me start off by saying that I am a Buddhist, as well as a pacifist, who would never think of harming anyone or anything.
For a few months now, I've been having dreams about shapeshifting- mainly into a wolf but sometimes into a bird. Then the other night, the dream starts off as normal- i'm running from 'something' and then shift into a wolf. I can feel the change, but it doesnt hurt. Then, I'm in the woods, running, like I usually am, but this time, i smell a deer, and run with it for a while. Suddenly, I pounce and rip it's throat open. The scary thing is that the dream seems so real- I can taste the blood and feel it on my face, along w/my heart pounding and the scents and sounds.

Any Ideas?

I have a psychology case study & I need to explain how a psychologist from each of the 6 approaches in psychology would explain the behavior of the person in this situation

so i need your help please!!
This is the situation

Jane was a member of the girs' soccer team during her freshman and sophomore years, but did not get to play in many games. She worked hard and believed she was improving, but the coach never seemed to notice. As a result, when she became a junior, she didn't join the team. Her friends, who did get a lot of playing time, were disappointed and tried to convince her to join again. She told them it was no use; she had worked hard for two years and had nothing to show for it. For weeks they tried to persuade her. Finally, she made a deal with them. She would join for the first few weeks and if she got to play in any games, she would remain on the team.

K so i don't want anyone thinking they're doing my homework for me!! i have some ideas!!

I don't want any of the generic cliche answers. The most thoughtful, in-depth but not dull, unique answer gets the 10 pts. Strike me with profoundness- note- you DO NOT have to be a profound person, but show who you are in a profound way.

Have at it..!!!

A gentleman on her posted the opposite question and I am interested in how many women long for the days before woman's lib...obviously equal rights are mandatory, but many of the other things are just ridiculous.
When you could stay home and take care of your children and no one, not even your husband, chastised you for it!
When a man treated a woman like a WOMAN...paid for the meal, bought her flowers, etc.
I personally think it has just gone too far...what do you all think???

Is it not absurd to use science to support that women worry more than men?

in reference to this article:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/livescience/20070928/sc_livescience/whywomenworrysomuch

and this prior yahoo question (you can add your answer here too):
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApBK9THlWYMWWLpbCD1LTHvsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20070928233719AAZh164

My point in the prior question was in regard to the MEDIA DISTORTION that is present in the article. Look at it!

My point here is this: Is it not ridiculous to say that women worry more than men when in fact both men and women undoubtedly worry but the worry manifests itself in different ways? How the heck can you (realistically not theoretically) quantify who is worrying more when worrying itself can manifest itself in many different ways? The public is being fooled (by what is supposed to be objective science, which is a myth) that women worry more than men, which is only inches away from suggesting women are inferior.

People are always telling me, "things will get better". That's crap. Ever since I was born my life has kept on getting worst. Grade 8 was the first year I started harming myself for failing school (yes I had a tutor, yes I gave up a VERY large portion of my life to bring my marks, yes I studied). Then EVERYONE told me that high school was going to be fun. Grade 9 came and I first started therapy. Then Grade 10 came and I was first diagnosed with clinical depression. Grade 11 has come and I was hospitalized for suicide prevention. I hate my life so much. I am either at school failing or at home with people trying to kill each other. I hate who I am so even being alone is awful. Why is my life always getting worse and how can I make it better without medication (yes I do have anti-depression medication)? To be honest, if my life doesn't improve within the next year or two, I am bailing out.

(PLEASE answer only if you are a current minimum wage earner)

There was a recent minimum wage increase act that will raise minimum wage in 3 steps over the next two years. My question to you is it worth it to have a little extra change in your pocket at the end of the day even though the the increase in wages will raise insurance premium rates along with gas, inflation and food?

He began his study by simply placing two lines of M ands M’s in front of different aged children. The M and M’s were placed far apart in the first line and closely together in the second line. Piaget found that children between the ages of 2years 6 months old and 3years 2 months could correctly tell the relative number of objects in the 2 rows apart whereas children between the ages of 3years 2 months and 4 years 6 months indicated that the longer line with M and M’s placed far apart had more. This is because it is believed that children loose the ability to conserve as they grow and then later regain it. After 4years 6months children seemed to once again distinguish correctly. Piaget’s results found that younger children have the ability to conserve; this shows that logical capacity for cognitive operations exists earlier than acknowledged. Young children can be equipped with certain qualities for cognitive operations depending on how long the structure of the task is. Children develop explicit understanding at ages five thus the child will count the M and M’s to decide which row has a higher number of M and M’s.
