With all the heterosexual men I have fallen in love with, I think I can give this a go!

For one, the feelings are like a boomerang, they come and go. Eventually the boomerang wont come back.

It feels like this (at the same time oddly enough) It feels like your chest is sinking into warm water but at the same time, the feeling you get in your chest when the water was too cold.

Thats the closest I can get really... I really hope that you feel better and keep in mind that you aren't alone. Unrequited love is honestly the worst kind.

Oh Helen, I have lived with it all of my life, and I still could not put in into words, except that as I type this piece the tears are streaming down my cheeks and at least I have many treasured memories. I'm 70 now, how could I live without my memories

Pretty hard to deal with.
It doesn't last forever.
Your heart does go on.
