ok, I had a really bad dream in March. Here's what I did the day BEFORE I had the nightmare, me and my friends were at a girls birthday party and her name is brittany. Here's what happened in the nightmare, We were in her house, and her brother's room is right next door (and it really is) and there is like a bomb in the building or something and I had like flashbacks of 9/11 and stuff like that and then we were in her hallway and we were all ducking down screaming and there were explosions of bombs blowing up outside. What does this nightmare mean? No sarcastic answers please.

I have read an article stating: "A depression is a servere recession usually characterized by any of the following problems.... Financial panic, bank closures, unemployment rates exceeding 20 percent, and significant deflation". I'm just wondering if we are going to expirience another great depression? And if so how is it going to effect or economy?

Ok, now... ppl i have a huge crush on a guy since 2 years and i havnt told my mom about it... my crush resembles a particular celebrity...
Recently my mom told me that she had a dream that me and the same celebrity were in love with each other and he and his family put forward the marriage proposal ...Before my mom could think about it or ask me about it (I was nowhere to be seen in the dream), they took the answer to be a yes and started with the preparations...

I've been thinking hard on this... What can this mean???

I wanted some more answers, so i reposted this question...

Ok I have an older friend that is 10 years older than me. She was my math college teacher and we became friends. We only talk through email b/c we are not that close yet but anyway..she just had a baby a month and a half ago and she has invited me over to see her already. Well I got her baby a present out of generosity.. (I have already gotten her a baby shower present which was an engravable picture frame that was expensive!)..but I was shopping and saw some cute outfits so I decided to get them just because. I have been trying to give them to her and I ask her in email when I can come by and give them to her but she either doesnt answer me sometimes or like today, told me to come over in email, but then called me later and said her AC wasbroken and being fixed, and to reschedule for next week. This will be the 3rd reschedule already. I told her it was time sensitive, which it is. I really think she is a great person and I understand she is busy with teaching and the baby, but she

does this create a more fulfilling partnership?neither partner being the inferior counterpart but simply to help strengthen the bond of the relationship by asserting different roles?is this idea of submission quite wise at least in the most idealistic sense ie.a man of integrity, good character and well educated and a woman of similar virtue?does it only become an issue when it comes to people of lower socio economic status, less educated which abuse the principle behind it leading to domestic violence and a life of slavish compliance to men who don't love them for the women.surely this idea was perhaps written not just as an oppressive idea but was for the application of the most regal and honourable individuals?as with all divine doctrine however it is human beings in themselves that have perverted it through their own ignorance and lack of personal discipline and spiritual responsiblity.surely it came from good intent not just an attempt by the patriarchy to stamp on women?

Many men are becoming vary of how the system is stacked against them, engagin in trickery to dodge the silver bullet which marriage and responsibility has become, not few getting a vasectomy avoiding beeing trapped in child support. If a woman of legal age engages in sex with a minor resulting in a child, the child is still obligated to pay child support.
Is there a trend of women going underage ? I came across several cases now. How big is this phenomenon ? Is it a couple of dozen cases or are several thousands of women exploiting young boys ?

If LIFE is really worth something, but can be taken just like that, at the drop of a dime. What's life really worth? How can something so precious and be considered a gift, be so dispsoable and easy to take away? And everyone's is! What honestly is so precious about this life, if it can be discared of at anytime, anywhere? What about abortion?

I know a lot of people are gonna say "just live your life and enjoy the experiences. Don't think about it. . ." I hate that answer! All that means is I don't know. And thats understandable. But I love asking these questions, even though most of time I won't get an answer with question like this. THOUGHTS?

Hope I didn't offend anyone with this question. . .

A thought experiment.
Post 1945 explosions in population coincide with a general decline of the standard of living for the 3rd world poor- clearly an inextricable link between endemic poverty and overpopulation.
We have few and finite resources and not all nations will be able to effectively (most always the poor) feed and employ their populations. Soon the world population will be 7 billion- mainly in Asia and Africa- which will require massive levels of new jobs alone merely to employ new job market entrants (in addition to existing ones).
This is not feasibly achievable and we will constantly have a continuous growing gap between wealth and poverty with all the ills associated with poverty and societal wealth gaps.

Is the quickest, easiest most humane solution to simply nerve bomb overpopulated nations so that they may grow viable economies rather than sapping resources by focus on poverty segment basic needs and instead attain parity with 2nd tier nations?

Straight answers help people waffle and sympathy clouds the issues do you agree. If I was an alchoholic people would say I was ill, I would say it was my own fault being ill because I like the booze.thats just an exampleI`m not an alco but do you know what I mean.

For the sake of this I will call the girl Lisa.

Should Lisa write her grandfather a letter and forgive him for his wrong doings (molestation) to her when she was a child?

The grandmother recently died and didnt beleive that her husband did these things when the truth came our some years ago.

Now the husband depressed and alone is travelling to England to visit his relatives and his old homes for the first time ever since coming to australia some 40+ years ago with his family.

He is very ill and has been advised not to travel and in all reality may not make it to and from England, in which case his body will be brought back to the home country by family. it is something he feels he must do, very lost and alone since losing his wife suddenly just months ago.

Lisa, the grandaughter has many mixed emotions and wants some closure. She feels one sucessful letter or conversation with him will be as good as yrs of counselling.
