To see a crab in your dream, signifies you perseverance and tenacity. On an extreme note, you maybe be too clingy and dependant and hanging on to a hopeless endeavor. Crabs are also symbolic of your irritable personality, as in the pun, being "crabby". (i copied this from the dream moods website)

Crab is a common symbol. It could be literal too like if you had crabs for dinner, saw them in the store or on tv, or someone talked about them. As a symbol astrological cancer, a person who is the sign of cancer or has those qualities, the disease tho unlikely, the food, the animal, the qualities of the animal ie crabby, pinching, walking sideways, sidestepping an issue, the word crabby or crab, cranky or crabby old people, bad mood, etc. Dream symbolism is very personal.
