I usually have the dream and then it actually happens a few weeks later. Kind of like the whole Abraham Lincoln thing. I know I don't have like powers or anything but I think it's pretty coincidental. Help?

Hi,

I am finishing a Bachelors in Economics, and will probably do masters too in Economics. The problem is that I is that I cannot find any information on on opportunities in Economics.

I don`t want to work in the public sector, so my question is;

1) Will I be able to find a well paying job.
2) Will this education give me a good quality of life.
3) What are the earnings out there?
4) How do earnings compare to other sectors?

I plan to take Mathematical Economics/Econometrics/Macro and Micro Economics as my core subjects throughout, and also some electives.

Can anyone give me an idea, as I have e-mail recruitment agencies, and done research on the internet, and I still can`t find any decent answers!!! Anyone that has hands on experience working in the industry??

In my finance textbook, it says that owning 30 individual stocks is considered diversified. Is there a connection between this assertion and the statistical concept that a random sample size needs to be at least 30 to be distributed normally around the mean? If so, why is 30 this magic number? Is it special like Pie and E?

I feel like crying after I talk to people that are dominating. I don't know how to become strong so that they affect me less.

Pushy people are the most difficult for me to deal with.

They think that they should second guess you and that their way is the only "right" way.

What is the best way to deal with these type of people?

When I joined answers, I never intended to make it a hobby, I was just curious and found it fun, I have come to the conclusion 500 points later, that I am a frustrated 'know-it-all' : In my "real" life, I always think I know best but have learnt to mostly keep it to myself........nobody likes a smart-***!

No. Im not wetting the floor and no im not 10000 things not related to this.
And if its the look of the commode that is a problem i wonder why the commode estetics say its more 'nice' when its down.Furthermore have i never met anyone that stands around the báthroom "to watch my lovely commode" so can it!

sorry if this offend anyone but im just trying to understand. i have only been to america once but american men. wow they are so kind to women. they do half the cook and clean jobs so nice of them !! (i think its rude to make a man do that) if a woman here ever suggest that to her husband he get angry for even saying it. why do men in america have to do feminine jobs? it is wrong !! i hope you will understand. thank you :)
