I usually have the dream and then it actually happens a few weeks later. Kind of like the whole Abraham Lincoln thing. I know I don't have like powers or anything but I think it's pretty coincidental. Help?

No one can foretell the future except God is involved. Sometimes God will show you little things about the future to come only to build you up for bigger things down the road. The whole point is the point to Him. When trouble breaks out down the road God can speak to you through your dreams and give you direction and guidance as what you need to do, because He loves you.

ir physic.noo well actually dreams are reflected on your thoughts from your earlier day and thoughts that were in the back of our mind and you forgot so if they came true and you knew they were going to come true [like if u dreamt there was a bake sale on friday and there was one then you probably knew it but forgot it ] so then there you go. if your dreams are unrelated to this then your phsycic.
