It depends on what you are doing. I saw a guy once on TV that wanted his girl friend to treat him like a dog. I mean a real dog. He wanted to be walked outside on his hands and knees and eat actual dog food out of a bowl. He also wanted her to train him to do doggy tricks. I say he needed some kind of therapy. Evita

Zoologist, I would think, do not study why humans act like animals they are distant to. A psychologist would be able to more fully communicate with you and delve into your psyche to better give you the answers you seek.

If you are Homo Sapien, go to the psychologist. If you are another species in the mammel group then you should be acting like an animal and need not see anyone.

a zoologist won't give you a descent answer from a zoology point of view unless they are also certified psychologist

The only thing a zoologist could tell you is that you are reversing to your primal urges

You should try seeing a veterinarian or if you act like a dog--perhaps animal training camp for dogs.

I think you probably know the reason and just don't want to face it. You would probably be wasting time and money with eitehr forms of treatment.
