I am adopted. I was adopted at almost 5 years of age. I am now 28 and I know my adoption has caused some of the depression and feeling of adbandonment that has plauged me recently.

serious or sarcasm, your choice... any way. i have not had a partner in a year. i am not gay. but am to the point were i, frankly, hate women. in the other hand, i cannot find it in my heart to use one. when i find myself attracted to one, i get very angry with myself for what i know to be foolishness, and have what appears to be no luck attracting them any ideas on how to overcome this rediculous dilema?

How can I find the value had they were kept constant at 1993 value. PS: CPI in 1993 is 100.

I am trying to recall the term used by psychologists to describe mental illnesses with a genetic component but which must be activated or triggered in order to emerge. I have a vague memory of a name for these disorders -- hyphenated, I believe, as in a "Blah-Schmah Disorder" except replace the 'blah' and 'schmah' with something meaningful! Any help would be appreciated!

How can I find GDP for 2005 when government expenditures in creased by 5% or investment by 5%. (if GDP in 2004 is 100.)

Is there some sort formula that I can use or do I just multiple the government expenditures or investment by 5% serperately??

Lately, I seem to self sabatoge myself in various aspects of my life. It's like I feel like I don't deserve to be happy. I don't take care of myself like I should anymore, don't eat right or sleep right and just put myself and my happiness last. I take care of my toddler really well but I just let myself go. Have you ever felt like this before? Do you have any advice for me? How can I convince myself that I am worthy of happiness?

Everybody seems to have an opinion about how another person should lead their life. They become upset when they, themselves aren't perfect.

I don't like being like that. Yet, I can't help but to be like that.
I am not perfect, yet I give "Answers". They may not be correct, but I try.

It sucks giving or receiving answers when nobody is perfect.
It is all a matter of trying to help. That's it. Nothing else.

How can you not strive for perfection and just let things go?
Just say screw it, what ever will be will be?
Not bothering with petty things?
Not bothering with pertinent things?
Nothing reallly matters?

This is what happen: After I focused in one career for 6 months, then my mind wonder for other careers possibility ( this make my time split, half of it doing that one career, half of it trying to find other careers )

I guess in my case, this is the result if motivation or liking factor not one of consideration of choosing career, I could be motivated to do anything.

How could I solve this? ( when I like every career and I think all careers could be fun )

Okay here's the problem..

I've got this friend right, let's call her 'B' and she and this other woman, let's call her 'W' really like each other, they get together and make up wonderful fantasies with one another. This used to give them both great pleasure and satisfaction.

Anyway, things were going really well when this guy comes along and noting the fantasies says that they should get together.

Hearing this the woman that my friend likes and who likes her (but won't admit it any more) said that she has a husband (probably lying tho) and that she can't get together with my friend.

Since then they haven't been sharing fantasies so much and my friend has been getting really angry and more abusive than usual. I just want to comfort B and let her know that she still can turn things around.

So what do you think, does my friend still have a chance to get together with this woman??
