i dreamt of a rat being chased by a snake. after a while the rat was sort of inside a cage with a grown tiger in it. i thought that the rat was safe there but then the snake came out of nowhere and began chasing the rat again. then the tiger started chasing snake. they were running all around the cage. then the scene changed and the next thing i know was that the tiger was walking towards me and the snake and the rat was beside me.i ran and i saw my grandfather. i'm preventing him from going home because the snake, tiger and rat is there. so freaky!!

say a smoker tells you that smoking is bad. why is it our first thought to not believe them because they are contradicting their actions? their advice should be thought of as more valid since they have first-hand experience.

I have known a man for 10 years. 5 years ago, I let my irish temper get the best of me and I called it off between us. I rushed into a marriage I later found out was abusive, and he was there for me. Everything is planned out now, but I have some questions. What does it really mean when a man says "No matter who you marry, you'll always belong to me?" What does it mean, upon seeing your children and spoiling them rotten, when he says, in a good sort of sad way and not a bad one "They should have been from me. But you dumped me". What does it mean when you are talking, and the man says he wants more children in the future? Especially when you have to work hard most of the time to get his feelings out in the first place? What does it mean when he says he never thinks anything badly of you and that just a look from you "drives him nuts" and he can't resist kissing you? Is this just talk, or is it real since he didn't try anything in the beginning?

Is there a good book out there for that? Maybe if I would've planned better. I feel like my life like 2/3 of it is like one mistake after another. That's why I'm so leary about making decisions: I always feel I'm going to regret them later.

I had dreams of adopting a child since I was a child. I have always been athletic but didn't dream about getting severe thyroid problems affecting my self esteem, my weight (I gained tons), and health. I always thought I'd be healthy and fit. I'd be a teacher or something in a nice house. Not living paycheck to paycheck my whole life, always struggling to make ends meet no matter if 5 years pass we always live paycheck to paycheck! I'm sure 10 year olds don't sit around thinking they would live that way!

(okay it's not all bad. I did get two degrees, we do own our own home, etc.)

I wont go into details because it will take literal years, but i have a "learning disability in applied problems". OK, i went to a psychologist and he gave me an IQ test because i was under 6 yes, thats right SIX different tutors for math and they could not make me understand math even though i tried my hardest...the results were i had an IQ of 93 and he said i was L.D. in math, or "applied problems". I do, however, have a strength in "spelling". he said i was gifted in spelling but was LD in math....I'm sorry if i'm talking in circles but im very stressed. Im seventeen yr. old male and i'm simply looking for answers. Could somebody tell me if its more than just a math disability? could "applied problems" be something "more"? It seems my only ONLY strength is "spelling". but what the hell does that matter if 95 % of life is MATH???...Anyway i would greatly appreciate any info/facts on Math LD and "applied problems disability"...thanks

Ihave some neighbours who live inmy building who have a little girl that I like alot. She is almost 2 years old. I took her out to the local mall on Halloween to enjoy "trick or treating". We did that and then I took her to hairdresser for a trim of her hair. The parents are "angry that I cut the child's hair". I called the Father yesterday to speak with him and tell him that it was not intended to harm the child. He said he was "angry". Tonight he came to my door with the child. I did not answer. He called me on the cellphone and told me he was here to show me the "blothched haircut and what I had done". I knew he was looking for a fight so I told him to "count me out as a friend". He replied by saying" I will do that right now and I don't need you". I feel bad but don't know what else would have work given that he is looking for some kind of a fight. I need some advice on what to do to solve this situation in the near future.

Lately, I'm finding it hard to have focus on what I'm doing at work. No matter how I try to concentrate on what I currently do, my mind seem to direct itself to something else, such as the past, or other things. When I try to begin a task that requires deep thought or analysis, my mind seem to withhold from it, & seem to choose to be in "relax" mode.

You think it's a job burn out? Any advice?

Well, to sum it up quick...lately(past few months) I've been having a hard time remembering a lot things...like a lot of 'what-do-you-call-it?' moments more often than ever. Its not like an alzhiemers memory loss. Its just starting to piss me off, does any one of you experience that at all? It is stress/holding back/tension?
