Well, to sum it up quick...lately(past few months) I've been having a hard time remembering a lot things...like a lot of 'what-do-you-call-it?' moments more often than ever. Its not like an alzhiemers memory loss. Its just starting to piss me off, does any one of you experience that at all? It is stress/holding back/tension?

Do you consume an inordinate amount of red meats, like hamburgers and pizzas?

Do you consume an inordinate amount of soft drink beverages stored in aluminum cans?

If so, stop.

This is one hypothesis I heard, that incremental neurological damage in regards to memory loss and mild forms of Alzheimer’s brought on in people of younger ages may be due to the combination of aluminum accumulation from soft drinks stored in aluminum cans and mild forms of undetected Mad Cow Disease in beef products. Acute levels of aluminum are a suspected cause of Alzheimer’s.

I have a lot of those moments too. However I am a lot older than you are so I did at first consider the possibility of early-onset Alzheimer's. It is frustrating and disturbing. It is possible that it is due to stress. In my case it is a combination of stress (Katrina survivor, nuff said) and medication that I must take. Perhaps you could speak with your doctor to see if any medication you are taking could be causing this.

I've experienced times in my life when I've had the same kind of thing happening to me, and it's usually been because I'm under a lot of stress. Life just seems to demand too much of us all at times.

Know exactly what you mean. I, myself, am 26 and have been experiencing slight memory problems the last few years. Let's just face it. Our brains are better at learning new information when we are children. Now we're just getting old...

My husband & I call them "BRAIN FARTS" I walk into a room & can't remember why. My husband starts talking about something then can't remember what he was saying. He also has the walking into a room lapse. I can be putting laundry into the dryer & then forget to turn it on....
It IS annoying, but hopefully it will clear up for you....

do you get enough sleep? and do you go to bed and get up at the same time each day? if not a disruppted sleep cycle could be the problem, irregular sleeping habits are known to play havoc with one's memory.

Well it may have to do with sleep. Are you getting enough? Like 8 hrs? It can really affect how your brain and body functions
