My last Q seems to have drawn some one or two knee-jerk reactions. I posed the question twice, which some people completely ignored.... Are some by choice? Are you by choice, a lesbian? Or you can NOT help it? That's all I wanted to know. Let me clarify... Yes, I've been in an all female college and I observed plenty! I like the way they look-masculine, and yes, some don't look masculine and they were paired up! I DO realize those generalizations, but You have to start with generalizations to create theories! What my aim was to test that hypothesis, but in no way did I expect a bludgeon hurling at me! Can I ask a question without being told I'm an idiot? I am merely info-seeking, not JUDGMENTAL! If you can't rationally read a question and think of a more reasoned reply, please don't reply!--Because I was in a study-mode, not a judgmental mode! Sorry truly to those kindhearted people out there I may have accidentally offended... :(

A) If a woman fears that her man will wrong her as many men throughout history have wronged their women, should she be in a relationship with him? Shouldn't she, at least, tell him her fears?

B) If a woman marries a man, shouldn't she give him all her trust and let go of all fears? Is it fair for the man if the woman says with her lips "I trust you as my husband", but in her heart says "what if he's like all the other dogs"?

C) If you learned, (somehow) your man/husband said he trusted you, but trully doubted you in his heart, how would you feel?

I'm beginning to think I have *serious* issues. I've barely spoken to this guy, just a few conversations on a public board online, some flirting, and 1 IM conversation... but then I went back and read a bunch of of his postings on the same site, to get an idea of who he is. His writing & postings are *amazing* -- he's amazing -- and I'm already ridiculously jealous and reading his sickeningly flirty coversations with this one other girl. (It's not all girls, just this one other.) It literally makes me nauseous to see their outrageous chemistry & flirtation. And now I can't eat, can't think, can't sleep, I just keep thinking about him. If all this weren't bad enough, I'm 28 & he's 22-ish, and he lives on the other side of the country, so these are crazy thoughts anyway.

The other problem is, that other girl I see him talking to is amazing too. Smart as a whip, confident, funny. Plus she's his age.

Ugh, what the hell is wrong with me, and what should I do to deal w/this?

ok, currently, i am a freshman in high school, and there is this guy, his name is steven, hes a junior. i like him more than ive ever liked any guy, and im fairly good friends with him, ive asked him to go out with me a couple times and hes said no, that im not really his type. but anyway i had this dream that i walked into a room, with a couple people in it and steven was one of them, well i walked over to him and he hugged me, and then kissed me on the lips. and asked me how i was, and i said i was good and then i asked him how he was and he said "even better now that youre here" and then i said, "awww youre so sweet" and he kissed me again.. and then we walked out side and everyone followed us, and then we started running and it started raining, we stopped in the middle of a field and he kissed me again, and said he loved me, and then i woke up, and i cant help feeling that as much as i want to be with him he will never want to be with me. but this dream tells me different i dunno should i beleive my dream, what does it mean??

If sceince is able to identify an area of the brain that is stimulated by homosexual behaviors, logically, that would show a abnormal brain function. I do not believe, and I would rather not have any answers that would judge anothers behavior as right or wrong. Just like I would not pass judgement on a man that has bipolar disorder, I do not think we have the right to tell other people how to live their lives. However, I do believe that many behaviors including homosexuality is a form of mental illness or mental abnormality.

Doubt helps us to clarify what we believe. Doubt works better at sharpening our mind than changing it. Is this one of your beliefs as it is mine?

I tend to express myself verbally, which means I think out loud a lot, and I feel like I blabber sometimes about unimportant things or speak out loud details that no one else cares about, and I also have a habit where, when I make a mistake, talking circles about it to try and explain why I made that mistake. In everyday life, it's no big deal, but lately I've been wondering how my employees perceive this behavior and whether I seem credible to them. In addition, I have always been averse to gossip yet I seem to get caught up in it more than I'd like, and have repeated things that really should've stopped with me. Long story short: how do I learn to say only what is necessary and keep my thoughts to myself?
