happiness is like health, it lies in a continuum, u can't be happy all the time..or u cant be healthy all the time, there would be times that u are grieving for a loss or sufferring from a disease but you can be content and happy or healthy most of the time depending on choices u make in your life....but to make it as a goal ..to achieve happiness... is not a bad thing...

For me, I am learning that the only "Happiness" can be EXPERIENCED is the one that is Here and Now! Therefore not a Life "Goal". Moving to a joyful experience from a 'nonjoyful' experience is just a matter of choice, having a broader perspective than the negative, and trusting in some 'Higher Power' that it IS O.K. to choose to feel O.K. True love is unconditional, so I can stop putting conditions on myself as to what MAKES me "feel" anything. I have a choice, and the more I choose Joy, the more I get IT!

May you be blessed with this crucial insight!

I am an optimist so I say..yeah. Yes, but that doesn't mean once in a while u might b a little sad. being happy is a choice not a goal, really.Put a smile on ur face, even a fake one, and u'll automatically feel better.

I believe that it is! First, be honest with yourself as far as what it is you want out of life. Pursue your passions and find that special someone to share them with no matter how long it takes, it's not a race. Though we would all like it to happen sooner than later and that sometimes leads us to comprimises, live and learn and lean on your true friends when you have to.The hardest part IMO is patience! Hope this helps!

Achieving happiness should be your first goal! I mean, if your not happy with yourself are you going to be happy with anything else that you do?? Being happy with yourself leads to loving yourself and if you dont love yourself you cant truly love anything else in life.
