No, I wear a hoodie, my son wears hoodies, his friends where hoodies, and we are all nice people.

Don't label kids by their clothing. Watch their actions. I am a firm believer that most of the kids out there are good kids, and will treat them as such until they prove otherwise.

My son is a teenager (14, but looks 16) and wears a hoodie, this doesn' t make him a Yob. In fact he is a really nice young man.

Before I had teenage sons - yes I may be intimidated by groups of them, but now I realise they do get a 'bad press'.

Most teenagers are good people; but it is the small minority that gives them a bad image.

If you feel intimidated by them, please try not to, walk past get eye contact and smile you will probably be pleasantly surprised

Me.

Given just what people can get away with - without 'retribution' from the law, and being 'scared of infringing their Human Rights' -and artistic freedom of expression ~ in destroying things or in practising their 'Intimidation (of others) Rights,' and risking getting arrested for this.......

I'd have to be downright bloody stupid to put myself in harms way - a way which might even give my insurance company a legal 'out,' their justification for a refusal to pay out on my Life Insurance, should the worst come to the worst.

Sash.

not me why should i? i see more muslims that wear burkas that scare the s**t out of me.seriously though i'd feel more intimidated if i had to walk past a gang of 5 lads showing their faces, than if i had to walk past 2-3 lads wearing hoodies.my 6 year old son always puts his hood up on his jumpers, but he wouldnt hurt a fly,ha ha.

i wear hoodies cause i like them and they keep me warm during fall. all my friends wear hoodies and their not pulling guns or knives out from underneath them. Give people a chance if you don.t know all the facts.

It depends...if they're just strolling around minding their own business and bothering nobody they can't be automatically labeled as bad kids!!

But if they were being offensive or rude..I would be scared...but that has nothing to do with what they're wearing...clothes don't make someone fearsome...their behaviour does!

Ohhh please. Just because teenagers wear hoodies it dont mean they are going to mug someone. If i walk down the street wearing a hoodie does it mean im going to mug someone?? Does that mean if a muslim wear there head gear things that they are going to mug everyone??? Are you intimidated by them??
